Okay first of all, hi. I'm back from vacation (inside summer vacation so like...double vacation? Idk why I'm pointing this out it literally is irrelevant-) and I have a super cool prompt idea.

But second of all before I get into it, there's a new feature! Any chapter with a 💜 emoji by it means it's a prompt I'd really like to do. If that helps narrow down any options, great! But it's mostly to show which ones I'm more eager to do, and therefore will probably prioritize.

Okay, now let's get onto the prompt.

___ lived in a small town (in a fantasy setting), and all was peaceful.

Until it wasn't.

A small cave was discovered, but before any miners could go deeper in and find precious metals or gems, they were killed and their bodies were thrown into the middle of town. That lovely message made it clear there was some sort of monster living in that cave, but each miner was killed in a different brutal fashion, so the townspeople couldn't pinpoint what killed them.

So every month it became tradition to send in at least one person into the cave to kill whatever monster was in there, sometimes even sending a group. But every time they did, the people they sent would always be splayed across the ground in the town square, brutally murdered in different ways.

Finally it came Character A's turn. They didn't have the heart to actually kill the monster, but they were sent away anyways.

Upon entry at the cave, someone appears. "They sent another victim? And one who looks as pitiful as this? They must be desperate at this rate." They scoffed. "Come in, we'll show you around." Wait, "We'll?"

They take Character A deeper into the cave, and almost an hour or two later everything becomes clear.

There was life in this cave. Plants and trees with homes built in them, water sources with fish and...creatures?

They begin to see more and more people pop out, different creatures and monsters look at Character A warily; and Character A begins to piece things together. These monsters were threatened by the people of their town, all the killings were because they were attacked in their own home.

Due to their peaceful nature and kindness, Character A is welcomed in and is allowed to live with them. As they grow closer with the creatures, they learn that not all of them were born monsters. Some were cursed or tricked, and were thrown out of human society. But then the leader of this mini society, a fallen angel (my own character btw) named Amara, took them in.

Character A grows attached to the monsters, but of course if we want a plot we need some sort of problem so with the background out of the way, here's some mini plot ideas.

1• Character A falls in love with Character B! Character B is a monster, and they both know that Character A is expected to return to the village with the monsters being dead, what do they do?

2• Character B and Character A are both humans! Character A has been gone for a while, but their body was never delivered to the town. Having grown worried, Character B decides to venture into the cave and find them. What will happen to the two?

3• As it turns out, Character A was cursed! They turn into a monster, and are taken into the mini society. How well will this turn out?

This is all I have, but a few more notes to be safe!

For one, I will use some of my Oc's to fill in space. This is a prompt about a society after all, there's going to need to be a lot of people for that.

Two, multiple types of monsters can exist at once. Go crazy with your ideas!
