The day everyone found out Daz had died, was the die things got quieter. When the officers went to Daz's parents house his parents where confused at first. When his mom heard the news she broke down, her and her kid never had the best relationship going and most of the time Daz disliked his mom, but, she'd never want her kid dead. She got herself up from the sofa once being told and called her own mother and father informing them their first 'granddaughter' was dead. Daz's father didn't cry, he was upset, but also angry. throughout Daz's teenage years he tried to get his child to open up to him and talk about what was going on in their head, Dazza never did, they were too scared.

Days before the funeral:

There has been a lot of discussion about moving out, leaving the bad memories within the house. Will is studying a lot more, Jamie doesn't talk to anyone, Baylee is still on a break from streaming and riley barely leaves their room. It's been a month since Dazza's death, even his parents are acting different. Everyone was finding clothing to match the theme, black, blue and purple (as those where Daz's favorite colors). Now its the day before they have to let Dazza go, the house was quieter than what it has been, nobody made eye contact, nobody spoke, the only noise was tapping off keyboards, the dog, the tv and the small movements people made. the most concerning was how nobody was talking to each other, not even by text and hand signals. The house was silent, while Daz was never a loud person they made the house have a bright atmosphere, but they're gone.

Funeral day: Weirdly enough, the house was a little louder today. Still fairly quiet but more conversation-  suppose that's because they had to start sorting things out for the funeral for when others arrive, after the whole ceremony the wake is being held at the house. there's loads of tables everywhere full of drinks and snack foods. Nobody thought this would be a day they'd have to live through. They wished they saw the signs sooner, though there weren't really any sings to begin with, Dazza had always wanted to die from a young age. within the space of 5 years Dazza attempted 4 times, 3 unsuccessful and 1 being the reason everyone is acting weird.

Jamie was the quietest out of them all, everyone knows him to be loud and outgoing around his friends but now Daz was gone so was his sparkle, and the rest of the house's sparkle. Time moved quite quickly. there was a large stream of Daz's family and 'friends' walking behind the coffin. Most of them where crying, Daz would have laughed at that, thinking everyone was stupid to be crying over 'some worthless teen who clearly wanted to die'. Once we got the the grave where Daz would rest nearly everyone has been or is crying. Everyone took a seat and the ceremony began, the first started playing.

The song ended, Jamie and Will look at one another and then look over at Dazza's parents and siblings (yes, siblings, Daz's brother was invited to the funeral.) His parents and siblings where sobbing, as much as Daz hated them Dazza never wanted to make them cry or be disappointed, I think he'd be happy his biologically brother is there, sad he couldn't actually see him. The funeral director stood at the front saying the usual stuff at a funeral. Baylee had zoned out way before that, he only came back into reality once the next song started to play, a mix up of 2 songs by Harry Styles who is Daz's favorite artist.

Once that song had finished at was time to actually say Goodbye to Dazza. Everyone had a blue rose to place on top of the coffin once it was lowered. Dazza was a huge fan of music and made sure listening to music was apart of their daily schedule and so while being lowered the song to play was one from a movie they liked -Twilight.

Dazza's brother sat on the ground next to the coffin, he was very quiet but you could tell he was crying, he held onto the rose for a while, he watched as others threw there's in as a way of saying goodbye. The house had already thrown their roses in and said their piece and where traveling back to the shared house to welcome the funeral guests. Baylee walked in and went straight to the alcohol in attempt to clear his head. Will on the other hand was sorting out the projector with pictures and videos of Daz to share the good memories of him. Riley was sorting the food and drink while opening the door to guests and Jamie was just sat there, on the stairs like Daz used to do, nobody really knew what to do. Most of the guests where now in the house helping themselves to food and drink, watching the slide show, chatting between one another and some where still crying. The only people they were waiting on was Dazza's parents, siblings and grandparents.

After 15 minutes of waiting and low talking they arrived. Daz's mother looked pale, Daz's father was trying his best to stay strong and Daz's siblings where trying to comfort themselves. Giving people a few minutes to talk to one another Will stood at the stairs to make an announcement: "we didn't do this at the grave as we wanted to do it here, but now's the chance to do speeches, i know the entire house are doing speeches, along with Daz's siblings and a few others" he exhaled. He walked over to the speaker and changed the song.

"Daz was/is my best friend, they have been since year 8, we've gone through a lot together, they where always there for me and pushed aside anything that was going on to assist me with my needs, I wish I could've done the same, they're a wonderful person, a great friend and family member to us all, they just didn't see it. I wish they did see how much of an impact they made on people, they stopped me from killing myself back in year 8 which is why I'm forever grateful to call Daz my best friend. He'd always have my back, be supportive, wouldn't judge and would always make you feel included. Dazza was always offended by height jokes as he was only 5"1 and would always think of a comeback whenever anyone made one. Daz was actually a very witty person and knew exactly how to cheer someone up- except themself. They knew how to love someone - except themself. I just wish they could have seen how important they where to us all and how we miss them dearly. However, the one thing Daz told me to do in the note I was giving before they passed was too look out for blue butterflies and for sunsets. Which is what I think we should all do, remember Daz for their personality, their humor and how good of a human they where and not for his mental health, I know for a fact he'd hate us if we remembered him for that"  He exhaled for a second time and dried his eyes.

narrator: Everyone said something about Daz and shared a good memory which lightened the mood slightly. J was still very quiet though, however there was anger building up inside of him, Daz had seen J like a brother since they where 15, Daz's real brother hadn't been in the picture or cared since Daz was 9 and he was 16. But now all of a sudden he's allowed to be here, he's allowed to cry and have his moment with Daz when he barely knows his sibling unlike J who knew pretty much everything. J was mad because Sam had no clue what Daz went through after he left, he had no clue about all the trauma he left with Daz - including attachment issues- he never even bothered to message happy birthday or happy Christmas.

That night, in the household it was quiet, very quiet. Like no-one knew each other and so they didn't know what to say. Everyone was in their room doing their own thing, mostly grieving. Will wasn't taking it very will, he struggled to process and accept what happened to his best friend - even though he knew Daz wouldn't want him upset over this, he just couldn't help it.
