They arrived at the hardware store to a swarm of people running in and out of it. The sirens for shoplifting were going off as the chaos continued. "Alright everyone." Ms.Moor said. "I am going inside that hell hole. Grab your weapons and stay put."
"Good luck soldier." Jasper said while giving a salute. Ms.Moor rushed towards the building, pushing through the crowd. She got over to the paint department, which was surprisingly empty.
"Hi." She said to the employee behind the counter. "I was wondering if I could get green paint in three different colors. I'd need about 15 cans please."
"Why do you need so much paint?" The employee said as they began mixing it up. "Wouldn't you want literally anything else in the store?"
"I'd tell you why but I can't. Now be fast, I don't got time for this."
"I hope your not believing this bullshit alien warning. I bet it's just a test that the governments doing. The dumb ones will get killed or kill themselves then all the smart ones who don't believe in it will survive."
"I don't give a shit about what you think, just give me the fucking cans."
"Alright lady. Have fun dying." The employee handed her the cans.
"You too dumbass." She said running to the brushes and grabbing a bunch. When she got all the supplies they would need she left the store, dodging the other people. She knocked the secret code on the side of the bus and the doors swung open. She stepped over the body that sat on the ground. The persons skull had been smashed in, leaving a pool of blood next to it. "Alright I got the paint. Do we need to go anywhere else before we go somewhere to never be found by the aliens?"
"Um," Jessica said. "Do you think we would be able to go to Hoeton, to pick up my girlfriend?"
"Everything here is a group decision. The reason being is that all of our lives on this bus are at risk. So if you are in favor of going to pick up Jessica's girlfriend raise your hand." Six of the nine passengers raise their hands. "That settles it. We are going to Hoeton." The bus speeds out of the hardware store's parking lot in the direction of Hoeton. When they arrived Jessica texted her girlfriend. 'Wendy where are you right now. I'm on a bus with my friends but we can only get one more person on board.'
Wendy texted back, 'I'm at my house right now. I'll get packed up, but why can't I bring my parents?'
'Because it's too risky. With you our party will be 10 people and we can't risk having anymore.'
'But I really don't wanna leave my family.'
'Wendy, its either your family, or your girlfriend.'
'Fuck. I choose you. Be at my house in 5-10 minutes. I'll gather as much food as possible. My parents are out right now trying to get more supplies but I think being on your bus will prove helpful.'
'Alright. See you soon my love.'
