"Hey, has anyone listened to the radio recently?" Mr.Moor asked shuffling through their things.
"No." They all replied.
"I'm gonna give it a shot. Maybe there's still a radio station giving the news about what's happening since we left a few days ago." He grabbed the radio and flicked it on.
'Shphphpshshshphph' came out of the speakers. Mr.Moor began to shuffle through the different stations. 'That's the weather for today, moving on'
"Yes! There's still a channel working." He said.
'Just a few days ago Earth was invaded by aliens. They have finished their campaign in Antarctica and have been seen slightly further North. Countries in which aliens have been seen are South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, parts of Australia and New Zeland. It is known as of now that they are resilient to extreme cold. We are unsure about how they can handle heat as of now, but we do know that they have the ability to get into the Northern hemisphere. Any human spacecraft that is above Earth has been boarded by aliens. Please be on the lookout for something that is roughly 4 feet tall that resembles a human. They have two extra fingers and they constantly wear a hat to hide a third eye. If you see one please RUN AWAY IMMEDIATELY. They can move no faster than three miles per hour on foot. Be warned, they carry a concealed gun which shoots green rings. Observers have seen that the rings slice through your body, causing you to form holes going through your entire body. If this happens you have a high mortality rate, meaning it is better off for you to be dead than bleed out. Be safe, and good luck to you all. May the government watch over you all.' The station went off and white noise came through the speakers.
"That's a strange way to end it." Jessica said.
"Yeah, even for me." Wendy said. Mr.Moor turned the radio off, putting it away for later use.
Jasper and Dan woke up. "What's going on?" Dan yawned cuddling into Jasper.
"We were listening to the radio." Eli said.
"They said the aliens are moving farther north." Michelle continued.
"They said the aliens are about 4 feet tall, look like humans, but they have two extra fingers, and a third eye which they hide with a hat." Finn finished telling the pair the information.
"Shiiit." Jasper said. "We are fucked."
"At least we can die together." Dan said.
"Anyone else getting hungry?" Ms.Moor said. The group agreed and began to eat food.
"We're gonna need some more soon." Mr.Moor said.
"Then we're also gonna need some gas if we go into town." Ms.Moor said. "I checked last night and I'm at a quarter tank. It's enough for us to get back to town, but if we need to go anywhere else... I don't know if we're gonna have enough."
"How long does the full tank last?" Jessica asked.
"Roughly 9 to 10 miles per gallon, and it can hold about 70 gallons. So we can get roughly 700 miles on one fuel up."
"I don't think we will need to go 700 miles thankfully." Dan said.
"Well, the thing is, we might need to relocate to somewhere warmer. They said on the radio that they don't know how the aliens hold up to the warmth. They do know that they can withstand harsh cold conditions."
"Oh we are definitely fucked. But at least it won't hurt our asses." Dan said. He leaned over to Jasper and whispered, "By the way, we still gotta make a plan."
"A plan for what?" Wendy's face grew a smile ear to ear. "For some alone time? Maybe for some fun, like maybe using sticks in holes." She raised her eyebrows.
"Umm..." Dan looked at Jasper.
"So? You've probably done it with Jessica already."
"We have! Just yesterday we kissed with our lips, but not the ones on our faces."
"WENDY! WHAT THE FUCK." Jessica shrieked at her girlfriend who was snickering.
"I'll give you the location where you can get some privacy. Just let me finish these Pop-tarts first." She shoved it into her mouth.
"Could we see the location too?" Eli asked. "We won't bother you Dan and Jasper, but Finn Michelle and I could use a private spot as well."
"We should have a field trip!" Wendy said.
"Oh brother. Why am I still dating you?" Jessica asked.
"Because you love me." She kissed Jessica.
