Chapter 25

"How you feeling?" Eli asked Jasper.
"Better, much better." He looked at Dan.
"Eww. It smells like bleach." Wendy said with a grin. Jessica elbowed her causing her to roll her eyes.
"Alright I think now's a good time to go to sleep everyone." Ms.Moor said. "The sooner we get going in the morning, the sooner we get to the equator."
"I can't wait to finally be done running." Mr.Moor said to his wife as they laid down together.
"I can't wait to not be driving. My ass hurts from sitting all day. At least you all can stand up and take a break. If I stand to take a break, we don't know what it can cost us. Time, gas...our lives?" She shuddered.
"Well, we're so damn close. We just need to rock through Central America, then Colombia, then we're home free at the border in either Venezuela or Brazil."
"I think once we get there we should go to Brazil. I've always wanted to see the Amazon Rainforest. Right now it's shrinking because of the wild fires, so that's one thing I'd like to check off my bucket list before we inevitably die."
"Maybe we could finally have a real wedding." Mr.Moor said to Ms.Moor.
"You mean it?"
"Well, yeah. It'll be bare bones budget, but we can have it with the kids and Dan's dad. He could be the priest, we can have one of them be the flower person, and all the other things. It would be a fun thing to do."
"I'm so glad I eloped you. Mother and father always said you were dumb, but I always saw what they said was dumb as smart." She smiled and nuzzled into him falling asleep to the crickets chirping in the night.

"I can't wait until we finally find a place." Jessica said to Wendy.
"Me too. I'm tired of being trapped in the bus all day long. There's nothing to do besides talk, and we've already talked about everything that we can."
"And you haven't been such a naughty girl." She smirked. "Maybe, we could." She raised her eyebrows.
"For real?" Wendy got excited.
"Damn, it's only been like a day."
"I know, but my libido grows fast. I get wet so easily."
Jessica sighed, "You talk so sexually, why?"
"I dunno. My parents were horny fucks when I was younger so I just grew with it. They'd always get drunk then have sex on the couch, even if I were in the same room."
"You think being exposed changed how you work?"
"Yeah. Nothing I can do about it though. Wish I could, but...when you're raised a certain way it's hard to change."
"They said it takes about two weeks to gain a habit, but two months to break it."
"Your so smart."
"You're*" Wendy rolled her eyes.
"I'm going to sleep." She shifted her position to her side cradling her head.
"Then I will too." Jessica said wrapping her hands around Wendy's waist.

"What do you guys wanna do when we get to the equator?" Eli asked.
"I wanna find a place for the three of us, not like leaving the group, but like a separate living space. We'd have a little town where we could all live and we'd have some common spaces where we'd hang out during the day." Michelle said while lying on her back.
"That'll be nice. A place where we could be together that's private. We haven't even gotten any privacy. We still have yet to find a place to do it together." Finn sighed.
"Well, we gotta wait for Eli to be ready. Everyone should be ready and shouldn't be pressured into anything."
"I'm ready for anything now." Eli said with passion in his eyes. "I'm willing to take it and to give it."
"Dang." Finn looked at him. "Lookin real hot right now." The three of them smiled.
"Well we can't do it now. We gotta be prepared at all times." Michelle told the two sadly.
"If we go to sleep now, we can get to tomorrow quicker." Eli said.
"Race you two." Finn laid down to fall asleep followed by the other two.

Jasper sighed. "Every thing alright?" Dan asked.
"Yeah."
"Ok." Dan shifted his body to touch Jaspers.
"Well, its just that... I used to be dating this girl while we were working together on our chemistry."
"Oh?" Dan secretly smiled to himself.
"Yeah. We were kinda known around the school, but I didn't wanna tell you because I was afraid you might steal her from me. You're so much better than me in every way."
Dan laughed. "How?"
"Well for one, you're cute." Jasper smiled and giggled. "You have a nice cock, but you are really good at hiding it. You're smart, funny, have a good personality. You're just perfect." Jasper reached his arm to touch Dan. "The day the aliens came though, I never got to see her. She usually got to school a few minutes before class starts so I never got to see her during the morning, and when we ran away," a tear left Jasper's eye. "I never got to say goodbye."
"Well, maybe she's still out there. And we'll find her again. But what will happen to us if that day comes?"
"I'd break up with her saying I expected her dead long ago and I started dating you because we managed to get away. Maybe she'd understand, but she might have expected me to not date without finding out she's dead first."
"If she's upset she'll have to suck it up. Did you two ever do it?"
"No. You and me have gotten much further in a relationship than she and I did. But I'm glad you're my first. I wouldn't do it with any one else." Jasper kissed Dan and they fell silent going to sleep.
