They reached the end of the woods, revealing Ringston. The once normal looking town had been destroyed. Buildings had collapsed, the roads had become worn down, the glass window panes were broken. People were running rampant in the town. "Everyone hold onto your asses, I might hit a few people." Ms.Moor said, triggering the group to grasp on the bus. They heard several loud *THUNK*s looking to the back of the bus to see out the rear window. People laid on the ground crawling and screaming in agony as they bled out onto the pavement. The bones of some protruded through their skin, and one's skull had been crushed, leaving their brains to ooze out from their destroyed head.
"I think I'm gonna be sick." Dan said covering his mouth and closing his eyes. He leaned into Jasper who cusped his hand around his shoulder. Ms.Moor continued her rampage taking out many more.
She shouted to the crew, "By doing this I'm helping our chances of getting supplies while we're here." The group physically recoiled at the thought that Ms.Moor was harming people on purpose, but they understood the circumstances, and knew that drastic measures have to be taken. Occasionally they would see flashes of light in the distance followed by a delayed boom.
"Holy fucking shit what have we gotten into." Wendy said. "I would've rather taken my life then have to deal with this fucking monstrosity."
"Bitch I'd never let you take your life." Jessica said. "You're my girlfriend. I won't continue going forward if you don't." Wendy smiled.
"HOLY SHIT!" Eli screeched noticing that the bus was coming close to hitting a pothole.
"Way ahead of you." Ms.Moor said as she swerved around the hole, killing three more people. Someone who had jumped out of the swerve ran to one of the bodies laying on the ground. They pulled out a gun and aimed it toward the bus.
"THEY HAVE A GUN!" Finn said as the person began unloading the bullets at the back of the bus. Ms.Moor took a hard right leaving the hail of bullets.
"Where are we now?" Michelle asked.
"The gas station." Mr.Moor appeared from the seat behind Ms.Moor. "Now when we stop I will be getting out of the bus to fill up the tank. I want two of you to protect the back, three of you with me, and two of you at the front of the bus. This should be enough gas to hopefully get us through Mexico, maybe even further." They arrived to the gas station. "Everyone man your stations," he moved to the door with Michelle Finn and Eli as Dan and Jasper moved to the back while Jessica and Wendy moved to the front behind the other group. "Go!" He shrieked as the doors flew open. Mr.Moor, Finn, Eli, and Michelle ran out the door with their position being taken by Jessica and Wendy. Dan and Jasper watched the back door, looking for anyone who might try to approach them. Outside the bus Mr.Moor reached the gas pump and opened the tank shoving the pipe in. Finn noticed a person running toward them and cracked a baseball bat over their head causing them to collapse instantly. At the front of the bus Jessica and Wendy wielded kitchen knives and used them to disable someone who tried to board the vehicle. In the back of the bus Dan and Jasper were having an uneventful time as no one dared to try to climb to get up. Mr.Moor finished filling the tank bringing the three others back with him. They boarded the bus with the doors barely letting them in. Ms.Moor gave a warning and slammed on the gas driving the green bus from the station.
"Oh my fucking god I can't believe we did that." Wendy said.
"I didn't know that I could be that violent." Jessica said.
"I cracked this dude over the head with my bat and I didn't know I could do that either!" Finn said.
"That's what happens." Ms.Moor said. "You'll get used to it. We're gonna have to kill many, many more." *THUNK* she slams into another few pedestrians. "Fuck the right of way of pedestrians. It's now the right of way for those who have a better chance to make it." She continued running into pedestrians until they arrived at a grocery store.
