The radio hummed, "You heard anything yet from them?... No? Nothing about who they chose? Oh well. We ready to start? Oh! We already started? I hope they didn't hear that." The voice whispered at the end. "Hello! And good after noon. It is currently I don't know o'clock and I don't know how many days since the invasion has started. News just in that the Arctic Circle has been invaded by the aliens. They've gotten half way through Canada, Russia and Norther European nations. There has still been no sign of aliens being near the equator so we urge you. PLEASE MOVE SOUTH TO THE EQUATOR. Good night, and trust in the government." Mr.Moor clicked the radio off turning back towards the group. "Where are we right now?"
"Somewhere near Hope Arkansas." Jasper said.
"We're almost to Mexico." Ms.Moor said ecstatically. "Oh thank god. Only one more state to go."
"It's gonna be a big one though." Dan said.
"Well, if we're gonna get through this shit we gotta continue going." Jessica said. "Hands in." She stuck her hand out motioning for the others to place theirs on. "What do you guys thing our common name should be."
"The remainders!" Finn said.
"I like that." Jessica said. "On three. One, two, three."
They flung their hands upward saying, "Go Remainders." The group settled down and got ready to eat dinner.
"Hey everyone." Michelle said. "The three of us had an idea." She motioned towards Finn and Eli. "We thought what if we act like we're a giant family with three parents and seven kids. We're gonna be living in this bus together so it would make sense."
"And we think that our 'family' name should be Remainders because that what we are as of now." Finn said.
"We can try it out." Jessica said.
"Sounds like a fun idea." Ms.Moor accepted the idea. The began eating their food now considering themselves to be family.

"Hey can I teach you guys how to play base ball?" Jasper asked Eli, Finn, and of course, Dan. They agreed walking out of the bus into the field that they had parked next to.
"Don't stay out too late." Michelle said.
"Here's how you hold the ball." Jasper said holding it up to the trio." He gave a ball to each of the other boys and they repeated what he had shown them. "Good.
