Valouise was staring at the jewelry box Bylur gave him. She hasn't opened it yet and she doesn't intend to open it. She rolled her eyes and took it, toast it to the bin. She doesn't need some freak's gift. Also, she thought if it has some devices that may track her or what.
“He is a creep. Crazy ass!” She mumbled in annoyance.
She sighed and proceeded to close her shop and wrapped up. She closed it and went inside her room to change her clothes, got her wallet and her grocery list. Kailangan n'yang mamili ng mga gamit n'ya at para sa coffee shop n’ya.
Naglakad siya palabas ng kanto para roon maghintay ng masasakyan. Hindi naman siya yamanin, wala siyang kotse at ayaw n'ya rin kumuha ng isa. Iisa na nga lang ang bahay at coffee shop n'ya at hindi pa ito kalakihan, hindi na n'ya hinangad ang bumili ng mamahalain na bagay.
Naghintay ng ilang minuto su Valouise bago makasakay ng taxi. When she arrived at the supermarket she immediately went to the grocery corner and grabbed everything she needed. She didn't mind getting other things that are not on the list. When she was done shopping, she immediately went outside the supermarket and it was raining heavily.
“Hayyy! Kung kailan pa uuwi na.” Bulong n'ya sa sarili at humugit ng malalim na hininga.
She wanted to wait until the rain stops but with this state, baka matatagalan talaga siya kaya kailan n'ya sumulong sa uwan at pumunta sa pinakamalaoit na bust stop. Akmang tatakbo na s'ya at susulong sa ulan nang biglang may nagsilong sa kanya at pinayongan siya. Napalingon si Valouise sa napakagwapong imahe ng lalaking nasa kan’yang harapan.
"Salve ibi, Galina!" (Latin- Hello there, Galina.) The man said as he creepily smiled at Valouise. Valouise’s forehead creased in confusion.
Valouise took few steps away from the man but he followed, making her panicked. She knows something was wrong with him and Valouise was close to shouting but she doesn't want to make a scene.
“S-Sino k-ka?” Takot na tanong nito at hindi n'ya maiwasan ang tingin ng lalaki na para bang may masama itong balak sa kaniya.
“Your death.” he mumbled.
She didn't understand and it felt off for her. The cold wind hugged Valouise that gave her goosebumps that sent shivers all throughout her spine. The man's eyes glowed red and that was the last thing Valouise saw before she suddenly faint. Hindi alam ni Valouise ang naghihintay na panganib sa kaniya.

When she woke up, she found herself in a dark room, she saw nothing but just those little leaks of light from the holes of the ceiling and walls. Those lights weren't enough for her to see the place she's at right now. Valouise is even more afraid now, she was occupied by too much fear and could process a thing. Ano bang salita ang maihahambing n'ya sa nararamdaman n'ya ngayon? Wala!
Nothing can describe the fear and that terrified emotions of her. Lalong tumakas ang tensyon na nararamdaman n'ya nang makarinig s'ya ng mga yapak galing sa isang sulok kung saan ito ay papalapit nang papalapit sa kaniya.
"Galina..." A husky voice of a man whispered and that made Valouise shiver in chills. It was the man she saw outside the supermarket.
Valouise was starting to tear up in fear. She was shaking and all cold.
“Sino ka?! A-Ano k-kailangan m-mo sa ‘kin?” Sigaw n'yang may bahid ng takot at kaba.
“Don't worry, Galina. I’ll give you a painless death.” the man said in a breathy voice.
"H-Hindi- hindi a-ako s-si G-Galina!" natatakot n'yang sigaw habang sinusubukang aninagin ang kung sino man ang kasama n'ya sa lugar na iyon.
“Ang galing talag ng tadhana ‘no? Same face, same soul. Galina, you're beautiful and your redolence soul that I can't resist.” He hissed. Valouise had goosebumps when she felt his breathing near her ears.
“P-Pakawalan mo ‘ko, please l-lang. A-Ano b-ba kailangan m-mo? P-Pera? Huwag mo ako saktan, pakiusap!” Sigaw ni Valouise at tumulo na ang mga luha nito na walang preno.
“Aaaahhh!”
Malakas na sigaw ni Valouise sa takot nag biglang humalagapak sa kalangitan ang napakalakas na kulog. Sunod-sunod na kulog ang nangyari at alam ni Valouise na kagagawan iyon nang kung sino mang kasama n'ya sa lugar na iyon. Ang tanging nagawa hi Valouise ay umiyak nang umiyak sa takot.
She remembered what Bylur said to her earlier. Just earlier, she escaped already warned but she didn't listen. She didn't take what he said seriously and even refused a jewelry box that might help her and protect her. Sh regretted throwing the thing Bylur gave her. If it was true that it could save her, it's her fault that she's going to die in her state. She cried, waiting for her death.

BYLUR KNEW NOTHING about Valouise being abducted by Donovan. Donovan is a soul eating demon. He targets reincarnated soul of every special creature like siren, mermaids, fairies, trolls, piggasus and even goddesses.
He was sipping his coffee, thinking of Valouise. He was thinking how to take her to his side. Valouise was stren to him and seeing how she's nice to Verne makes him fumble. In the midst of thinking, he was interupted by a voice.
"Bylur... Hurry, please! My cousin! My cousin, Donovan got Gali— Valouise. He got Valouise!" Terra's voice was trembling in fear. She was preoccupied with the fear that Donovan might hurt Valouise, her cousin is a monstrous one.
Bylur dropped his cup and settled.
"Where is he?" Bylur was doing his very best to keep calm and connected to Terra. He was terrified. Knowing she's in danger makes him realise that she didn't wore what he gave making her clinched his fist.
"Mount Nebolo, in an abandoned chalet." Terra tracked them down and was relieved enough knowing that someone will go and save the mortal.
"Terra, call Mithran and Aratiri. I need them." Bylur asked her and went off to find Valouise.
“This woman! She never listens!” Bylur hissed.
