Unlike yesterday, the morning filled with rays of sunshine now became gloomy. It's not the weather— it's her heart. She didn't know the reason why she was feeling like that, she didn't know how and when it started. Did she mistakenly take his kindness?

Valouise sat down on the bed and deeply sighed. She stood up, washed her face and brushed her teeth before going out. She made herself a coffee and went to the glass window, watching the japonica dances with the wind.

Stop your stupid feelings, Valouise. You're not here to love, you're here to survive.

“Valouise?” someone called her name.

“I'm sorry about last night —” Valouise stopped him from talking.

“You should only be sorry to me if you didn't like the kiss. If it's not the case, stop saying sorry.” Valouise hissed and sighed.

“Ang oa mo! Huwag ka mag-alala, ayos lang ako.” Dagdag pa nito at humakbang palayo.

“Ah, by the way…”

“Let's do it. Let's write together.” Valouise said and a smile curved in Bylur's lips.

“I'm glad you agreed.” He answered and Valouise nodded. Valouise sighed and faced him once again, with a blank expression.

“Bylur, when would this end? This chaos. I just want to go back to my normal life.” Valouise said and she saw how Bylur looked down.

The room was filled with silence. He wasn't able to answer her making Valouise frustrated.

“I think it's not fair. Wala naman akong ginawang masama para mangyari ito — hindi ko pa rin maintindihan lahat ng ‘to. May ginagawa ka ba para matapos ito o sadyang walang nangyayari kasi wala kang ginagawa?“ Valouise hissed and bit her lips.

“Valouise, I know this situation is frustrating you but it's not that easy.”

“Why? Why is it not easy? Why me?” Valouise almost shouted in frustration. She sighed and closed her eyes to stop herself from getting mad.

“Never mind.” Valouise sighed and walked away from him.

Bylur was left dumbfounded. He honestly don't know what to do and how to solve the situation. Out of frustration, he went off to meet his brothers.

“WHY ARE YOU HERE?” Bylur asked sternly to Riah.

“Have you forgotten that I'm part of the family too?” Riah groaned and rolled her eyes on him.

“Mithran…” Bylur groaned at him but he just shrugged.

“She insisted. She came with us, what could I do? Burn her?” Mithran sarcastically answered.

“I don't want to hear anything from you, Riah.” Bylur hissed.

“Ano ba ‘yon?” Armi asked.

“She’s starting to question the situation.” Bylur said and sighed.

“As she should. Bylur, hindi bobo si Valouise para hindi mamalayan ‘to.” Sagot naman ni Riah.

“Does she know?” Armi asked and the three of them shook their heads.

“She can't. She shouldn't.” Bylur whispered and covered his face with his palm.

“Why not?” Armi asked again and he didn't answer.

Riah was having hard times to hold back to say what she wanted to say. Mithran was firmly reminding her not to, to avoid any fight. They were filled with silence, not knowing what to do. It was Riah who wanted to solve it but she knows they wouldn't agree.

“I know you—” Riah was about to talk but Mithran interrupted.

“Don't think about it. Don't open your mouth, Riah!” Mithran warned.

“No, you shut up!” Riah screamed. She sighed and looked at Bylur.

“Stop being selfish, Lord. She deserves to know.” Riah hissed.

“You don't know anything, Riah!” Bylur stood up and looked at her with a deadly stare.

“I know… I know what you are trying to do, Lord.” Riah groaned.

“You want to hide the truth from her, have her heart and take Colden away from her. Your scheme. Your selfishness. Your obsession. I know it all.” Riah said in frustration. Armi and Mithran looked at Riah with an awe expression.

“You know but you wouldn't understand.” Bylur whispered.

“Bylur, how could I fucking understand when you are turning yourself into an evil one?!” Riah screamed as loud as she can making everyone shut up.

Riah was catching her breath and tried to calm herself down.

“Valouise needs to know that she is Galina. She deserves to know who she is.” Riah added.

“If you want her to stop from asking questions, give her the answer. Stop your obsession, Lord. It will ruin her… it will ruin you. The Bylur I know knows how to handle this kind of situation. He's not a fool. ” Riah said before leaving them. Bylur was speechless and froze in his place.

Mithran and Armi didn't say anything anymore. They know it wasn't the time. Bylur left without any words and found himself walking towards Valouise's coffee shop. He stood up in the distance, looking at Valouise happily serving her customers. He stared at him for a while and questions started to form in his mind.

Can I see her smile like this if I tell her the truth? Will she find peace like she had before if she finds out?

Bylur was about to go but she saw a familiar person who went inside Valouise's shop. It was Verne. Bylur observed from there and when he sensed that Valouise was not okay, he immediately went inside.

“Valouise!” Bylur clamoured her name, making Valouise and Verne look at him.

He walked towards them and went beside Valouise.

“B-Bylur? Bakit ka n-nandito?” Tanong ni Valouise rito na nakatingala sa binata.

“It's almost closing time. Andito ako para sunduin ka.” Verne looked at them with confusion.

“Sunduin?” Tanong nito. Verne scoffed and shook his head.

“Hindi ko alam na close na pala kaayo. You guys are addressing each other with your first name already.” Verne said and irritation can be heard from his voice. Frustration was visible in his face.

“She's staying at my house for a while. May problema ba roon?” Bylur groaned and raised his eyebrows on him.

“Why?” pasigaw na tanong ni Verne.

“Why not?”

Valouise signed Bylur to stop and pushed him slightly to her back.

“We're doing a project together and I think it's convenient for the both of us to stay in one place. I know it sounds unnecessary but…” Valouise paused and sighed.

“Valouise, I don't think you need to explain to him. He couldn't understand what's best for you.” Bylur hissed with a stern expression.

“What are you trying to imply, Mr. Eisenhower? That you understand her more than I could? Kakakilala n'yo lang.” Sagot naman ni Verne. Bylur smirked and shook his head.

“It's not a matter of time, Mr. Laroza.” Bylur said with a mischievous smile.

“Stop, you two.” Valouise muttered.

“Let's just talk next time, Verne. I'll call you.” Valouise hissed and Verne nodded at her. He angrily glanced at Bylur before going out. They waited for Verne to disappear from their sight.

“Hintayin kita. I’ll help you close the shop.” Sambit ni Bylur.
