" 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚊𝚗 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚘𝚗 " [𝙼𝚘𝚘𝚗 𝚔𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝]

【４ － Ｇｅｔｔｉｎｇ ｃｏｍｆｏｒｔａｂｌｅ

You yawned, waking up after what felt like a few hours. You were worried for a second when you found no one else in stevens apartment, until Khonshu reassured you that they were just going to do some moon knight things.

"Aren't you supposed to go with them or something?," you assumed. He shook his head, and you nodded, looking around the place.

"Do gods have some sort of social media?" You randomly bring up, facing Khonshu again.

"...No." 

"Do you at least have Netflix or something?"

"...I don't get why we would. No,  we do not." The tone in his voice sounded intrigued, but also confused.

"Oh my gosh, you should play animal crossing. Come on."

"Why are you quizzing me?" He says, following you as you hurry to your bag in your dorm and hurry back to set it up using Steven's tv. You connect everything, and hand Khonshu a joy con controller.

"I feel like you deserve this amazing experience, so you get to play a game with me." You say, gesturing to the tv while getting a controller of your o

"I doubt I'll like it, anyway-"

-Time skip (An hour later)-

Marc unlocked his front door, some cuts across his face. There wasn't anything too bad, luckily. He was going to head to the bathroom before seeing two figures covered in blankets playing animal crossing on his tv. He leaned over one of their heads, since the other one was too tall, despite sitting down. 

"Getting comfortable now, are we?" He teased while you looked up at him you later motioned to Khonshu, who was still playing.

"We we're just playing a game, but get it I guess," he says, and you refrain from bursting out laughing. You instead give him a thumbs up and accepting nod. Steven was making hushed chuckles through the mirror on the wall near you, and earned you a glare from Marc.

"What did you do to Khonshu, y/n?" He said, walking to the bathroom to go clean his cuts.

"Nothing much, just yassified him a little bit."

Marc rolled his eyes and walked into the bathroom, and Steven was still laughing. Steven stopped, thinking for a moment.

"What does yassify mean?.." He turned to face you through the open bathroom door while Marc was cleaning his cuts. 

"Kinda like making someone better, or more gay, I guess. It's just like an inside joke on the internet." You reply without really knowing the true meaning of yassification yourself.

"NO!" Khonshu yelled, standing up suddenly which made you jump. You turned to see what he was looking at and saw that the tv had turned off. You were looking for the cause and saw that someone took out one of the plugs.

"It's late at night, I don't think you two should be playing video games right now." Steven said, and you turned to him angrily.

"JUSTBECAUSEITSLATEDOESNTMEANTHATYOUHAVETOUNPLUGMYGAME, IHAVENTEVENEATENDINNERYETANDITSALMOST5:00!—"

"Bollocks, y/n, calm down.." You reluctantly did so, although Khonshu was still mad anyways and angrily phased through the wall, leaving.

"Ok, fine. I was trying to say that I haven't eaten yet, and it's almost five."

"Oh, you're right. I'll go make something." He walked away before you could tell him that it was fine, but in reality, his food was good. So, you couldn't care less.

Waiting on Steven to finish cooking, you pulled out your phone and turned on some music until the food was ready. 

- Time skip - 

"So. Random, I know, but do you have any powers that you know of?" Marc said now. You swallowed your bite of food slowly before shaking your head.

"You have to. You can't just see a god and be powerless. We just have to 'awaken' your power, whatever it is." You stood up and grabbed your plate and cup, walking to the sink and placing your dishes in it.

"Well, I can't do anything. I'm not some wizard."

"You have to at least tr-"

"I CANT HELP YOU!" You yelled, turning around. Marc didn't respond, nor did Steven, they only stared at you, eyes wide. It took you a second to realize that your feet weren't touching the ground. You were levitating. It stopped, probably because you were shocked, and you gently set yourself back on the ground. 

"Well, that was easier than I expected," you muttered.

"K, Telekinesis. Noted. You could have more than power, so watch out if anything else... weird, happens, to you, or an object, or someone else."

"..okay. Well, imma go sleep, in my own bed, so see you after school tomorrow." You said, and Marc nodded. Him and Steven waved goodbye, and you did the same before heading back into your own apartment. You got out a little midnight snack before you slept, though: a couple of fruits with some cream cheese. You ate your food happily and hopped in bed, still slightly stressed about the long school week that began tomorrow.

Also i may add a significant other to the situation, just bc. Probably not next chapter, maybe the  one after, I'm not sure yet.
