By the time you'd woken up, you were no longer with Steven, as he was replaced with a small pillow. Panic rose for a moment and you sat up straight, looking around. Steven wasn't anywhere to be found, and you stood up anxiously. Your attention was drawn to the plate on the kitchen table, and a cup of your favorite juice in it. You smiled, already knowing who made it. As you sat down, Steven came out of the bathroom, and noticed you were already ready to eat.
"Oh, morning love. You can go ahead and eat, I've already had breakfast." He told you while you kept your gaze on your food. You nodded and immediately dug into the delicious meal, earning a chuckle from both Marc and Steven.

"Alright, come on. You're gonna be late if you walk any slower," Marc said, turning to face you. The reason as to why you were even walking slow was majorly because you remembered you had a project to start with Gabriel, of all people, and now you didn't want to go to school.
"I don't waanaaa..." You complained, and Marc grabbed your arm and started dragging you behind him.
"I don't care, you're going to school and you're going to do it now." He scolded, and you folded your arms and pried his hand off your arm. Although being extremely reluctant at first, you finally gave in and followed Marc at the same pace as his own. That didn't stop you from complaining about how much Gabriel was a pain, though. You didn't realize it, but Marc was actually listening intently to what you were saying, and nodding a few times when you talked about the nicknames he'd given you. Once you both made it to the front doors to the school, you dramatically walked inside, waving goodbye to Marc. He waved back, watching you leave, and then turned and left to go back home himself.
"If that Gabriel kid does a single fucking thing to them, I'll make sure he regrets every second of it." He muttered midway home.
And he kept his word on it.

"Come on, I'm sure it isn't that big of a deal," Esther assured you, elbowing you in the shoulder in an attempt to make you feel better.
"It is, though. The subject where I have to even submit the dumbass project is my first block, meaning I don't have any time to even prepare for this."
"Don't worry, the block will be over eventually," She smiled comfortingly, and you gave her a weak smile back until the bell rang. "You can do it." And with that, you both parted ways in the now crowded hallway. You walked into the room, sitting down in your assigned seat. Everyone else was flooding in, and you pulled out a small sketch pad out of boredom. You knew it'd be a few more minutes until the class was all prepared, so why not? You were drawing Khonshu, getting slightly aggravated by how hard it was to draw his head, but you soon enough got the hand of it. You finished the curve in his beak, how it had a very pointed edge, and started working on the holes in his beak. There was the obvious parts: the eye holes, and the nose holes. You almost forgot the other holes that remained in the cheek part of his face, but you eventually remembered it. You softly smiled at the finished product, that being Khonshu holding his staff while saying 'Get it, I guess.' After finishing the text bubble, you were so focused on making your signature that you didn't realize Gabriel was sitting down next to you.
"Shit drawing, freak." He snickered, and you ignored him as you finished writing your signature. You muttered something while he was trying to get over his frustration. "What did you say?"
"I said, maybe you could try. Maybe not specifically drawing Khonshu, but really whatever you want." You smiled, offering for him to take an empty page and a pencil.
"...Sure," He mumbled, taking the things from you. He started sketching some shapes, and you realized he was making a self-portrait. Typical, you thought while you let your head rest on your hand. You just thought he was being selfish again, which would make sense, until you noticed it wasn't just a self portrait of him. He was drawing his friends beside him, or, as you called them, his goons. They constantly stood behind or near him while he was making fun of you. He looked like he was finished as he put his signature on his shoulder in the drawing, but he scribbled out his 'goon's faces before handing you your pencil back. "Thanks, nerd." The insult in his remark didn't feel very genuine, and it was making you question more than you already were because of the scribbling and his strange attitude. You just shrugged it off before putting your things back in your back to clean off your desk.
