Once you finally woke up after what had felt like forever, you rubbed your eyes and pinched yourself just in case you were still dreaming, and were relieved to find that nothing much happened in return. You were getting tired of being forced to relive your traumatic memories during your dreams, and the worst part was that you couldn't do much about it, since no matter how much you tried, you couldn't wake back up during them.

After a quick stretch and yawn, you hopped out of bed, not necessarily eager to go to school. Besides, you had just found out yourself that you killed your parents. Tears stung your eyes as you started changing clothes. It was for a good reason, you reminded yourself while you headed for the kitchen to eat. You weren't very surprised by how there was already a meal on your counter, still hot. A note sat next to the food. "Have a good day at school :)," it reads, and you chuckled under your breath at how he acted like your mother at times. After eating and thinking for a while, you made sure you had everything prepared before nodding and heading for school, not noticing the people that were keeping track of where you were going, and when.

"Oh, hey. You're almost late, come on," Esther greeted, waving to you. You weren't paying that much attention, as you were still deep in thought, so you just nodded your head. Your eyes were focused on the sidewalk while you walked inside. Your thoughts drifted off to the men in your dreams, and how they seemed familiar, although you couldn't think of the reason why. You pondered who they could've looked like as you sat down in your seat in your class. People were chatting a lot, especially these two kids in the back. You forgot their names, to be honest.

"Steven, quiet down, class is starting," Your teacher said, and you froze out of realization. Steven.. those men looked like Steven and Marc...!  Your face lit up as a small smile appeared on your face. Your expression returned to normal once your teacher began class, although you were still glad you finally figured it out.

Something odd happened while you were walking home. Esther didn't walk to your house with you after school, and you didn't think much of it, as you thought she could just be busy, but you felt like someone was following you. So, as you normally do when someone is following you, you pulled out your phone camera to see who could be behind you. Although you could only see below the person's torso and down, you could tell that it was Esther, as that was her pair of jeans and her pair of shoes that she wore today.

This confused you even more, sine you didn't get why she'd follow you when you both normally talk with each other while you walk to the apartments.

A shiver when down your spine as you imagined if she was stalking you, but you shook it off, thinking that maybe she just wanted to surprise you, or something.

You plopped your bag down on your bed, as you were now back in your apartment. Steven was sitting on the arm of the couch, asking about your day, and you decided to bring up the two dreams you'd had the night before. Steven didn't seem surprised, as if you just needed some more things to confuse you.

"I have a feeling you already know this, or something. Are you hiding something from me?" You question, leaning in. Steven sighed and raised his hands.

"You got me- us. To be fair, though, I feel like you should know about this anyways. Please, restrain from trying to freak out, since neighbors exist, yeah?" You nodded, not really getting why you'd freak out. "Okay. Great. So, believe it or not, Marc and I may have potentially... Died. We got to come back to life again, thankfully, but it cost us something." He paused after the last part, giving Marc a quick glance. "We had to 'fill our hearts' by going through memories that we had hid from each other, which meant, trauma. Yeah, but after that, our hearts still weren't full."
