"You must choose!" the voice screamed. Pain so much pain, suffering...anger...hatred...uncertainty. What could cause such...feelings? A known future? An unknown future? And dark past of pain and suffering? The voice screamed with so much need and want and desire for power and knowledge...dark power and knowledge. Why? Why did it scream in such a way? The voice hunted its need for power, it echoed through thoughts, wrecked through minds...crossed through senses. So why did it hurt so much for her to hear this? What made the world...the force tear apart in such a way?

"Don't listen to him, Anakin!" the name...the voice begged desperately, she knew who these voices were...these thoughts. It hurt her in ways she did not expect.

"That's not the Jedi way, he must live!" another attempted to tell his friend of good they were, the light they were. This was not their way but their arrogance and fear...it took over...ignored what was right, what was taught.

"He's too dangerous to be kept alive!" the other voice firmly stood his ground; she could see he was right. The danger of this craving power of another voice.

"I need him!" the voice cried, why did he need this voice of dark power? She wondered this to herself, what was so worth the darkness of power this voice held so cruelly...so strongly.

"Unlimited power!" a crackling of light...lightning, death from fingertips she could see.

"What have I done?" the desperately conflicted voice shook itself with its actions, what happened? She didn't know, she could see. All of this was converging on her at once, all this conflict and pain hit her.

"Anakin...no..." a woman's voice screamed this time, it was Jyn. She knew that voice from anywhere, the persuasive, stubborn, smart, and unconditionally kind senator. Why? Why was she so upset...so saddened? What had happened that she could not fully see? "Why? Why did you do this?!" the voices continued, male, female, sad...angry.

"You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to Force, not leave it in darkness!"

"You have brought upon the destruction of the galaxy! It will wither and die under the Empire's palm!"

"I hate you!" the way the voice screamed with such...anger, fury, hatred, and pain. It made her grimace when the voice caused a sharp pain within her chest.

"You are were my brother, Anakin. I loved you." the final voice was wounded by the hatred...hurt. What had he done? What had Anakin done? Something was conflicting, she felt she could not get an entire view except...he'd fallen. Anakin had fallen and he'd fallen so deeply into darkness, death or otherwise she did not know. She could feel him fall; she could feel them all die. They were dead so many, the light was traumatized...the force was scarred so deeply, disfigured...she wondered if it would ever heal...at all.

"Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose."

"I'm not testing you, Obi-Wan. Life tests you. Every day it brings you new chances for triumph or defeat. And if you pass the test, it doesn't make you a Jedi. It makes you human."

Her eyes snapped open at the sound of Grand Master Yoda's and Master Qui-Gon Jinn's voices echoing through her head, she was seeing the future, the present...and she was seeing the past and it hurt. She clutched her head at the memories and pain that rushed through her head, Yelena studied the white walls surrounding her. She had no idea what possessed her to work with her after what she did to him. All she knew is her sister was safe and she needed something else to do and this little girl Nala Se was the guardian of needed someone to look after her, someone who truly cared, with something that kaminoans sorely lacked. Compassion. "Kriff...what am I doing?" She whispered to herself with a sigh. "Sveta, I wish I could be with you, but I trust Bey to look after you. I know he can." Yelena glanced down at her hands before sucking in a sharp breath. "Surrender to the force, trust in the living force, as Master Qui-Gon said." She muttered to herself, taking a deep breath, and resting her hands on her thighs.
