Yelena could see the familiar site of Raxulon in the distance and frowned, it had been some time since she'd been here obviously, but...it didn't look too different from a distance. However, she would assume when they got closer it would be very different. She'd imagine the occupation of Raxus would be bigger than Saleucami. Tech landed the Marauder and everyone got up, grabbing their stuff. Yelena snatched up her blaster, lightsaber, and cloak while Jaina put BD on her shoulder and put on her helmet. Everyone readied their weapons when they stepped outside with caution, they had to be prepared for something bad if it was to occur. Though what was the annoyance was Tech and Echo still arguing about the job and the codes, something the other four were over and done with at this point. "I am simply stating that the codes did, in fact, work." Tech tells Echo smartly, Jaina and Yelena rolling their eyes when they stepped off the last step of the ship. "The client being a Separatist is not relevant." He argued, though the girls would honestly agree he had a point.
"He's got a point, Echo. It doesn't hinder what we're here to do." Jaina sided with Tech, BD whistling and Jaina hummed and nodded. "BD agrees with him." She added which stunned Tech but he was also silently pleased. Yelena raised a surprised eyebrow and glanced at Hunter who shook his head, neither saying anything to them.
"It is to me." Echo retorted with a huff, Yelena clenched her jaw in irritation and shot the men a look.
"All three of you shut up, it doesn't matter anymore. Stop arguing in circles." Yelena snapped with a hiss, Hunter looking at them as well and Yelena could just tell he was annoyed with the three.
"Forget politics. We're here to do a job." Hunter sternly states.
However, suddenly a posh and robotic voice caught their attention and they turned around defensively, pointing their weapons at the voice. "I am very pleased to hear you say that." Yelena's eyebrows raised at the sight of a protocol droid peaking from behind a tree, the woman looking at her cousin who she knew was just as confused.
"Who are you?" Tech questioned and Yelena sighed, coming to the conclusion of who she was very quick.
"Our client." She answered at the same time as the droid said. "I am your client."
"We're working for a droid?" Wrecker asked flabbergasted.
"This wouldn't be my first time." Jaina sighed, lowering her blasters while Yelena glanced at her amused.
"That is correct." She confirmed with a nod. "My master, Senator Singh, was arrested for speaking out against the unjust occupation-" the droid began to recall to them when Echo cut her off annoyed.
"We don't care."
"Well, I do. Politics matter, the Empire is a police state here which means it's happening everywhere else." Yelena frowned and looked at Echo, Jaina looking at her cousin and nodding. "What they do affects everyone, including us. I may have not been a politician but I was around Padme and Jyn enough to understand the levity of this situation. Freeing Avi Singh will make a difference for the future." She tells him, her words strong and fierce and Jaina chuckled.
"Wow, you could've been a politician in another life." Jaina jokes and Yelena makes a noise of disgust.
"Ugh, absolutely not." She immediately refuses and Hunter clears his throat to catch their attention.
"Uh, princess, we're a bit busy at the moment." Hunter reminds her and Jaina snorts while Yelena rolls her eyes. Yeah, she was aware, she just got a little caught up.
"You don't say." Yelena dryly replies, BD making a noise that sounded like a laugh as his ear like antenna's flapped like a dog's ears which made Jaina laugh. However, through all this talk that protocol droid seemed very pleased by the cloaked woman's words.
