thirty-three: return to kamino.

It didn't take long after that conversation for the transport to finally arrive in Nala Se's lab. It was...weird to Yelena, it had been months since she'd been in this lab or on Kamino. There was a type of relief to leave Kamino behind those months ago, there were just so many memories and feelings from this place. Yelena, Omega, and Jaina were unbothered but the boys were cautious when they arrived, keeping their blasters out as a precaution when the lights of the labs lit up the room. "Put your guns down, it's fine. Nothing's here." Yelena told them calmly, Jaina stepping out of the transport with a small frown while the boys lowered the blasters and glanced around with curious expressions.

"That looks like every other Kaminoan lab to me." Wrecker frowned, trying to figure out what was so special about this specific lab they were inside of.

"Not exactly." Omega corrected her brother. "Most in Tipoca City don't know about it." She clarified shortly, sharing a small look with the jedi who noticed her cousin stepping over to one of the large tubes in the room, her helmet in her hand as she observed the tube.

"Hunter's comm is still active. I'll pinpoint his location." Tech speaks up while typing away on his datapad.

"I'll tap into the system." Echo offered and Yelena watches Echo walk over nearby to Jaina who was still looking at the large tubes and other equipment.

"Are these cloning tubes?" the mando mouthed to her cousin who gave a nod in response. Jaina frowning before going back to her thoughts, obviously trying to figure out what clones could've been made in here. She was thinking Omega, considering everything but...who else? That's what she wondered.

"I don't get it. What's so special about this lab?" Wrecker asked confused, Yelena's gaze following the young girl who was walking in Jaina's direction.

"It's where I was created," Omega revealed to them, Jaina and Yelena were not surprised like the boys seemed to be. Yelena already knew and Jaina guessed.

"Here?" Wrecker's brows raised with surprise.

"Oh...there's more than just that, Wrecker." Yelena exhaled, her arms behind her back as she walked after Omega calmly.

"You all were here too," Omega admitted, but that made them frown. However, Jaina's eyes widened and her brows raised, the woman looking at her cousin who gave her a look. Based on what the jedi had been told by Nala Se, Omega had been around when the boys, except Echo, were still being created with their mutations. She was their older sister and yeah, the jedi never mentioned it but she did find it amusing.

"What do you mean?" Tech inquired curiously but mildly confused.

"Um, Tech, I think her words are self-explanatory," Jaina speaks up, a dry expression on her face which Tech rolled his eyes at.

"Your mutations were enhanced in this room. Experimental Unit 99 began right here." Omega explained softly, placing a hand on the glass of the tube and staring at her reflection.

"It's going to be weird at first for you but it's no different than me or Jaina returning to where we were born, except..." Yelena trailed off, trying to say this as tastefully as possible without sounding crude or anything. "We came from two different people and our process has been around longer..." She shrugged, Jaina snorting at that.

"And it's considered a modicum less complicated," Jaina commented offhand, a small smirk on her face as she looked back at Tech. "I mean you gotta know how the process works, right? Two people come together and they..." She started to say teasingly when Tech quickly cut her off and Yelena rolled her eyes.

"Yes! Yes! I am aware of how the process works, Jaina!" Tech panickingly cut her off which made her chuckle.

"Inappropriate things aside, Omega was here when your mutations were being enhanced," Yelena spoke up, ignoring Jaina and Tech while a frown came upon Omega's face for a moment at Jaina's words but she said nothing. Tech and Wrecker walked over to the three of them, Wrecker stammering stunned at the information. "All of you were except Echo, he was obviously created with the regular clones." the jedi added, her arms crossed.
