Yelena's elbow rested impatiently on the counter of the small store, Hunter bartering with the store owner on what he brought to sell. Yelena was silently thankful that the bounty hunter lifestyle and secret work with the republic and Jedi never led her to have to do this. She honestly didn't have the patience for it. The woman's hand rested on the counter and tapped her fingers against it, Hunter shooting her a look at the sound. Honestly, she could just pull a mind trick and get the guy to give them more than they needed, but then she heard Kad'vee's voice in her head. Don't do stupid things like that. Yelena let out a puff of air and glanced over where Omega was looking around at the stuff and Echo stood quietly at the entrance of the shop. "No sale." the shop owner concluded, Yelena scowling in irritation. Was this guy serious?

"Look, this is a pyro denton worth at least 1,800 credits." Hunter attempted to bargain with the shop owner, Yelena saying nothing but her frustration growing. They were supposed to be quick, in and out, and right now grandpa the shopkeeper was taking ages and being a pain. Hunter's eyes flickered to Yelena momentarily, sensing the growing frustration rolling off of her in waves.

"Maybe in the black market, but I'm running a reputable business here." the owner countered with a haughty scoff, that actually made Yelena scoff now and she looked at him.

"You're joking, right? You let me into your backroom and I could probably mark a dozen illegal things you sell." Yelena hissed, leaning towards the man who tried to stutter out an excuse. Hunter shot her a look and grabbed her bicep, shaking his head at her. For someone who was calm-headed or usually more patient so far as he knew her...she wasn't behaving as such. However, for Echo who had noticed her behavior but said nothing...she usually acted like that for a reason, but he chalk it down to she didn't want them to be out here any longer. Yelena stood up straight and leaned towards Hunter, the woman ready to get in his face and argue when a clattering noise caught theirs and the shop owner's attention. They looked to see Omega holding a clone trooper doll and a small cup on the ground that fell.

"Hey, kid! You break it, you buy it." the owner shouted at her.

"Sorry." Omega apologized sheepishly.

"You mess with her, I break you." Yelena immediately snapped protectively with no hesitation, Hunter's eyebrows raising in surprise but Echo who had noticed everything happen smirked. That would be Yelena's maternal and protective side, he'd seen it enough with Sveta, Cal, Ahsoka, and Caleb.

"Yelena, enough." Hunter hissed in her ear, gripping her wrist and pulling her back slightly. Yelena took a deep breath and exhaled before she pulled her wrist from Hunter's grip, the shop owner getting over the temporary fear he had garnered from Yelena. The woman watched Echo walk over and she gave him a small nod, the man leading Omega away. She couldn't help the small smile on her face when she watched her old friend interact with Omega who was showing him the clone trooper doll.

"If you're looking to sell something, how about your droid?" the shop owner spoke up and gestured to Echo.

"Droid?" Yelena and Echo frowned, Hunter glancing in between Echo and the owner before going over to him.

"Uh, he's a-he's a military prototype." Hunter lied, kind of not smoothly in Yelena's opinion which made her roll her eyes. However, the mention of the military just seemed to pique the owner's interest.

"Military, eh?" the man replied before humming and rubbing his chin in thought. "I'll give you 2,000." the shop owner had that audacity to offer much to Yelena's chagrin and she looked at Hunter with disbelief.

"You can't be serious? No, Hunter, no." Yelena whispered/hissed at the man who ignored her, Yelena shooting him a snide look for that. He could not be seriously considering selling Echo who wasn't even a droid!
