HINDI kinakabahan si Nomer kahit na ito ang unang beses niya na sasabak sa fashion show. Ito ang talagang passion niya na naantala dahil sa ama. Speaking of his father, nahihiwagaan siya na hindi siya nito ipinahanap noong umalis siya ng Pilipinas.
He was expecting one of his father's men to knock on his door one day and tell him that his father wanted to see him. For the past year that he was gone, there was no Baba that interfered with his life. And he's more than happy because of it.
Napapangiti siya habang pinagmamasdan ang ngiti sa mga labi ng nakakakita ng kanyang mga disenyo. Huling model na lumabas ay si Vivien wearing the design he made that will suit her.
When he heard his name for the introduction of the designer, he immediately went up stage. A big round of applause greeted him. It was more than he expected for. Maraming tao ang natuwa sa mga designs niya.
Next to show her design was Daphne. He sat near the runway where he could easily see the models and the dress they're wearing.
Unang design pa lamang ang naipapakita ay umani na agad ng pagkamangha mula sa mga manonood. Hindi naman iyon maitatanggi dahil napakaganda naman talaga ng mga disenyo ni Daphne. He can say that she really has a talent.
Ilang pang mga disenyo ang nairampa at katulad sa nauna ay puro pagkamangha ang narinig niya. Hindi na siya magtataka kung maraming celebrities and personalities ang kukuha ng mga disenyo ni Daphne.
Pero isa lang naman ang inaabangan niya all throughout the show. He's waiting for her to come out and now is the time. The master of the show called out her name. It was like he was waiting for a precious diamond to come out.
He froze in his seat when Daphne went up the stage wearing a mermaid dress that stays fitted from the chest to her knees and then flares out the rest of the length. The white silk fabric contours her body and accentuates her hips and waist. She's perfect.
From the moment she came out, all the people in the hall was amazed with her beauty. She was like a mesmerizing bride that has an almost hypnotic effect on anyone who sees her. It is probably because of her beauty and charisma plus the wedding dress she's wearing that really is captivating. Neither the men with their wives nor the bachelors or any of the audience weren't able to look away from her enchanting beauty.
She's a radiant and dazzling bride on that wedding dress. And she was supposed to be his bride if only she told him the truth. Masigabong palakpakan ang sumalubong kay Daphne mula sa mga manonood pero siya ay nanatiling nakatitig sa napakaganda at napakaaliwalas nitong mukha. Hindi nawawala ang ngiti nito sa labi na talaga namang nakakahawa. He can't help but smile at the thought that he was able to see her radiant smile again.
"Let's congratulate Mr. Nomer Yilmaz and Ms. Daphne Torres for a designs well made."
Muli siyang tinawag ng master of the show sa entablado para pictorial nila ni Daphne. He felt nervous.
Mas lalo siyang kinabahan nang makita na nakangiti si Daphne habang hinihintay siya sa entablado.
"Hi," he greeted and she responded with a nod and smile.
They stood side by side and smile at the flashing cameras everywhere. Nang matapos ang pictorial at makababa sila ng stage ay dinumog sila ng press.
Agad niyang iniharang ang braso sa mga microphone at camera na papalapit sa kanila ni Daphne. He protected her.
"Mr. Yilmaz and Ms. Torres, who was your inspiration in making those elegant and fabulous designs?" tanong ng isang reporter.
May mga security na lumapit sa kanila kaya kahit papaano ay na-control ang pagdagsa ng mga reporters.
