NOMER went to his office after Daphne made fun of him about Dylan. Napailing siya nang maalala ang ginawa ni Daphne. He really got mad but when he saw her apologetic face, his anger eventually melt down. Hindi niya talaga kayang magalit rito. Kahit siguro gawan siya nito ng masama at magpaliwanag lang ng kaunti ay mapapatawad na kaagad niya ito. Ganoon niya ito kamahal.

When he entered his office, Vivien was patiently waiting on the visitors' couch in front of his table. She's busy with her phone when he came. She immediately turned off her phone when she saw him.

"Nomer, I can explain what happened on the auction." Agad nitong salubong nang makita siya.

He has stoic expression as he looked at her. He's not mad at Vivien. He was mad at what she did to Daphne on that event. Mabuti na lang nasabi kaagad sa kanya ni Levi ang nangyari.

"I know you can, Vivien. You can start explaining now." He said, resting his back on the soft leather chair.

Yumuko ito at hindi makatingin ng diretso sa kanya. She was just staring at the floor and her feet.

"I.. I didn't mean to do what I did. I Just felt jealous of Daphne."

He inhaled sharply at her reason. "Jealous? Why?"

Sinilip nito ang mukha niya at nang makitang nakapako ang mata niya rito ay muli itong yumuko.

"Because all of a sudden all your attention was on her. It was all mine before she came to the picture!" Vivien said hysterically.

Pinilit niyang unawain ang dahilan nito dahil hindi lingid sa kanya ang nararamdaman nito. Kahit na matagal na niyang ipinakita na wala siyang interes rito ay inignora lamang nito.

"Vivien, I've already told you about this. Whatever you're feeling towards me, forget about it." He moved closer to his table, resting her arms on it. Magkasalikop ang mga palad niya upang iparating rito na gusto niyang unawain nito ang mga sasabihin niya.

"No! I came into your life first. It's so unfair that a new girl could steal you from me!" Vivien frantically stood up, her hands on her waist. She's throwing tantrums now.

He again took a deep breath to control himself from raising his voice at her.

"Listen carefully, Vivien." He gestured her to have a seat that she eventually obeyed. "Daphne is not a new girl and she didn't steal anything from you especially me because She was already my woman even before I met you."

Vivien was surprised to hear those revelations from him. He took that opportunity to clarify everything to her.

"Daphne was my fiancé but our relationship didn't end up well in the Philippines. We got separated and that's when I met you here in Paris. You're a good friend, Vi. I never failed to tell you that I can't reciprocate your feelings towards me and I am still hoping that we could still be friends." Upon saying those words, he examined her face.

Her expression was blank. Her blue eyes were just staring at him, trying to decipher if he's telling a truth. In the end, she let out a sigh.

"I get it. She came into your life first and she has a special spot in your heart that I can never replace." Mapait itong ngumiti na bakas ang lungkot sa mga mata. "I just hope that you might love me too but looks like you can't and you won't."

"I'm sorry,Vi," he uttered sincerely.

Vivien forced a smile. "So this is the feeling of being busted. It hurts." Mapakla pa itong tumawa.

He knew that she's just trying to hide her real pain right now. Ayaw niya na may nasasaktan na babae pero hindi niya ito sinasadya at ipinapaliwanag niya naman rito sa maayos na paraan ang lahat.
