Annoying Brother

*Third person's POV*

Fury talked to the young agents in front of him intently about their mission. Most likely a training mission but he instructed the two, telling them "Don't trust anyone there except the two of you. You will coordinate with each other." He stated like a father telling his kids to behave in terms of treating each other when he is away. He doesn't like to make the young ones put in danger even though it is part of their chosen field.

The two partners just nod at him in agreement and Fury is confident that these two kids will not fail him. They are one of the best and earned most of his trust and loyalty. They are the ones he is entrusted with this kind of mission and can be trusted at this time. He knew that there is something wrong with SHIELD and he needed people that he can thoroughly be trusted. Before he met up with the youngsters, he doubted something is not right after he showed Steve rogers the project insight and he can't access it. He saw a file that Astryd and Enrique are subjects for something. That's why he decided to send Astryd and Enrique to Congo facility. The only facility that no one knew about. Only Fury and some of the councils knew that facility. He talked to secretary Pierce about something. He felt there is a traitor, a mole in the Agency. He is in deep shadows condition.

Fury hoping for the young ones to not muck up the mission. That is why sending them to a facility could be one of the safer places he could think of. It is a training facility for some agents especially the young ones with potential. The training facility is located in the middle of the jungle in Congo. No one will know that there is a facility there coz you'll get there with just a jet and it is difficult to locate because it is covered with a highly intensive force shield so that no one can see it. The facility is managed by Alice. Astryd knew who Alice is. They were trained and taught some skills to be an effective agent and assassins by Alice

Astryd on the other hand thought of an adventure about it. It is her first time to be in this kind of mission. Unlike Enrique, he had already done some life-threatening missions recently while she, was just spying and intel works only. Enrique went or was deployed with some difficult task of infiltrating a facility or any other mission. Astryd whined about how lame her life and what is the purpose of her being one of the top young agents is if she doesn't even showcase her talent and try it with the bad ones? Her sister and Fury were being unfair to her. Fury just let out a deep sigh of how complainer Astryd is. She is such a restless bellyache person, at everything. Even Sharon can prove it. Astryd always fussing around on everything if she is not in the mood.

Their meeting with Fury was disrupted by an abrupt call from Maria. As Fury was gone. The two of them headed out of the diner together.

"I'm not that handsome enough for you. I know you have standards. You ignored me one time. Remember?" Enrique shyly confesses. Astryd was following his back.

"No, you're perfect," Astryd said like it was initiatively got out of her mouth. She let out a shy chuckle, facing Enrique. "You just have to find someone for you, Enrique."

Enrique let out a soft laugh, smiling smugly at Astryd. "Oh, what a change of heart or beliefs? You know that I still like you."
He knows that Astryd's reference. She's into girls. She's been with girls and it will be weird if He will confess and make Astryd confused about her feelings or preference back then.

"Nah, we are buddies but I like you too," Astryd said. "It is not difficult to like someone like you."

Enrique stops on his trail. "You do?" He said incredulously, turning to face Astryd behind him.

"Don't assume or have high hopes for me. I don't date guys." Astryd gestured her hands up to her chest level and crosses her arms against her chest to make herself clarify. Enrique's face didn't get disappointed. He knows he can't alter what Astryd likes. He is just fooling around and he is grabbing the opportunity that the two of them are together again on a mission. It is like a dream for him. Having his dream in front of him and that dream is Astryd.
