*Third Person POV*

Two weeks later Astryd got back to the Avengers HQ for some reason she felt that Wanda needed her and there was an altercation in her particular mission since it had something to deal with the Accords. After her confrontation with Bucky, she thought that she was going to die after Bucky put her to sleep but Bucky has a plan as well as Astryd for his refinement. Bucky wanted to know everything since he was gone and Astryd help him a lot. Giving him some list of things to do and keeping his profile low in where country Astryd left him.

Astryd has to deal with Wanda's longing for her and the situation inside the HQ.

Astryd found Steve in the living area, watching the news about what happened a month ago in Lagos. She leaned on the door as she also watches the news silently.

News Anchor #1: 11 Wakandans were among those killed during a confrontation between the Avengers and a group of mercenaries in Lagos, Nigeria, last month. The traditionally reclusive Wakandans were on an outreach mission in Lagos when the attack occurred.

King T'Chaka: Our people's blood is spilt on foreign soil. Not only because of the actions of criminals but of the indifference of those pledged to stop them. Victory at the expense of the innocent is no victory at all.

News Anchor #1: The Wakanda king went on to . . .

News anchor #2: They are operating outside and above international law. Because that's the reality if we don't respond to acts like these.

News Anchor #2 What legal authority does an enhanced individual like Wanda Maximoff and his twin Pietro Maximoff have to operate in Nigeria ---

Hearing Wanda's name on TV made Astryd anxious sentiments about it. She doesn't know how to comfort Wanda. She felt stupid.

Steve felt someone's presence behind him as he turned off the TV to see Astryd, leaning at the door with her arms crossed against her chest. She smugly stares at Steve as Steve kind of rolls his eyes at her. Astryd let out a deep sigh.

"I don't know how to talk to Wanda, Steve." She let out, looking at the man in front of him.

"She just needs some company like what she did with you before..." Steve suggested.  "You're supposed to be with your Aunt, I guess?" he questioned confusingly and stood up as he walked towards Astryd.

"Yeah, but Sharon let me fly here for updates and she's heading here too," Astryd explained.

"Hmmm," Steve nodded. "Astryd... I want you to -----" Steve started but cut his statement after hearing loud news as the sound drifted towards from another room. He eyed Astryd.

"She still blames herself for what happened," Steve muttered as they both headed to Wanda's room.

Astryd had this feeling of anguish for Wanda. It's been a month since what happened and she barely visited or talked to her. She also felt guilty about the fact that Wanda was always at her side after the Sokovia happened but now that Wanda needs her, she can't even fill the void of the situation. Pietro and Wanda are both special to Astryd but she can't even find a way how to lessen the burden of the twins.

Wanda, sitting on her bed as she was watching the news. She turns to the entrance of her room as she felt someone open it and to see Astryd entering. Astryd didn't hesitate to proceed with Wanda and engulfed her with a tight longing hug but then Wanda was acting cold as she broke their hug. Astryd looked at Wanda with her sorry and sympathetic stare but Wanda just dropped her gaze and gets her attention back to what she was watching.

Steve initiatively turns off the TV and sets the remote down and leans on the door frame.

"It's my fault," Wanda said.
