*Wanda's POV*

Our little activity downtown is almost over as we are headed back to the compound. Steve and Sam had me this guitar and they both taught me how to blend in with people. I am from Sokovia. We have this distinct accent, that is why Nat and Steve are trying to teach me. Especially Pietro whose tone is crisper but the better part of this accent that Astryd loves to hear. She told me back then that she let me speak in front of her because she loves how I talked. I came to think every time that all of the things she likes about me are her signs of telling me she likes me either. Honestly, I didn't get to tell her what I like about her. For more than a month that she's visiting and staying in my room for hours. Just there, sitting and having her thoughts about losing Enrique, I didn't get to tell her that I like how she kept her hair up. Her eyes glisten when lights hit them. Her face, her way of scrunching her nose and the way she let out a cackle when Pietro did something stupid in front of her. How am I supposed to tell her that? Now that she is trying to keep her way out of us.

"Wanda?" Vis took me away from my thoughts as he elbowed me softly on my arm. We are sitting next to each other in the van that heading home back to the compound.

Pietro was at the back with Sam and Steve is driving. Rhodey was next to Steve in the front seat of the van.

"Are you alright there? You seem so attached to your thought." Vision added.

"I'm fine... I'm fine, Vis." I replied. "Maybe just tired out from strolling."

Pietro stretches his arms as he places his hands on my shoulders and squeezes them. I placed my hand on top of his, reciprocating his touch. Maybe he knows what I am thinking. We are twins. He might feel intuition about my thoughts.

"We are almost there," Sam said. "I'll make dinner for us then let's get to rest after," Sam added.

"Yes, absolutely better idea, Sam," Steve commented.

"I'll help you make dinner, Sam," Pietro said. "Maybe Astryd is home." He added.

A smile creeps on my lips as the boys are so kind and helpful to each other minus Astryd who's kind of mocking them sometimes but have a good heart tho. Urgh... Why I kept on thinking about her. And here, Pietro will start nagging me about Astryd. Again.

We arrived at the compound about a quarter to 9 pm. It's already late and Sam decided to just order food outside.

I hurriedly got to my room and placed my guitar in the corner as I sat at the edge of my bed.

"Hey, sis!" Pietro abruptly popped his head at the door. "I was wondering if you know where could Astryd be right now?" He said, walking towards me as he sat beside me then.

"I don't know. I don't even get to message her." I nonchalantly replied.

"Hmmm... Why are you like that? I know you miss her." Pietro pressed in. I don't know but he is kind of right about that part.

"Why would you say that? You can read my mind now?" I said, facing him with creasing eyebrows.

He raises his hands to his chest level. "I don't have any ability to do mind reading but I can feel you. I am your twin, right? Remember?" He said as I nod taking his point.

"I don't miss her." I flatly said, denying what was actually happening in my head right now.

"So, you know where she is?" Pietro asked again.

I let out a sigh of desperation because of how Pietro was so restless. "I don't know Pietro! Why do you ask me where she is? I don't even know where is she. She didn't get to introduce me to her friend who looks like they were dating whatsoever they are... And ... And..." An image of Astryd and the girl in my head popped up where Astryd planted a kiss on the helmet that the girl was wearing. I shake my head to erase that awful view. "Astryd drove the motorbike," I said and eyed Pietro evilly.   "What the hell you are here in my room? And why don't you ask her where she is for all your queries will be answered!" I said frustratingly, making Pietro taken aback of me.
