*Wanda's POV*
A knock at my door startled me from my thoughts. Pietro's head popped at the crack of it with his perky face at me. "Hi my lovely twin sister," he said approaching my bed where I sat.
I tapped the free space beside me and let him sit there.
"So how was it? How was the date?" Pietro asked.
"It was wonderful," I shrugged.
"Why with that face though?" He pointed at me, noticing that I look like I am not glad of what I am telling him.
"She's leaving tonight and ...--"
"And you will just sit there and didn't want to see or give her a hug or kiss or whatever you two wanted." Pietro blabbered, cutting me off.
I took a glance at Pietro after he said 'kiss'. If you just knew Pie. We already did and that was the best part of it.
He stood up and placed his hands on his waist, looking down at me. "If I were you. I will give her enough reasons to get back here. Wanda, you just don't like her because it's already love you feel for her. I know that look you gave her every moment." He huffed. "I wanted to gag seeing you two actually." He added. "Here," he handed me a food container with a sandwich in it. I furrowed, taking it from him. "Well, Sam and I made her a sandwich... Again... She liked it. So..." He hesitantly remarked.
I looked up at him. "Thank you," I muttered and stood up, headed to the door. Take a minute and turn my back to Pietro to see his reaction as he just motioned at me to go to Astryd. He is right before it is too late.
It's been hours since we arrived here at the compound. We decided that we should keep to ourselves what happened before we arrived. The kiss between us and the confessions we made to each other should be kept between us. Even if everyone will flood us with questions, we still can't wipe out what we have talked about.
Astryd found the ease to just ask and tell me about Lauren taking her to the airport as it's only Lauren can. For the record, I am not able to trust that girl even though Astryd fully assured me about her not going back with Lauren. I found Lauren an intriguing person. She is pretty much and has the skills. She could have all the boys and girls she wants but why come back to Astryd?
As I am now in front of her door, I knocked 3 times and just entered. Seeing Astryd, packing her things in a bag as she instantly looked up at me. Her face lightened up as she saw me walk in with a smile on my face too.
"So, what's up?" I hesitantly asked her. She let out a chuckle as she continues putting some of her clothes in the bag. I approached her slowly and placed the food container on top of her bag as she looked at it scrutinizing it with a little disdain.
"We had just been together the last few hours, Wanda. And what is that?" She said pointing at the food container. I let out a shrug and just rolled my eyes at her. "....Of course, still, I am very, very, very fine. How about you?" She raised a question back and patted her bag as she sat on the bed. She took both of my hands and held them together in front of us.
"It's for you. Pie and Sam made it." I simply replied.
I was standing in front of her as she was sitting on her bed. I looked down at her, lovingly. Admiring her face for the last minutes of her beside me. I know that she'll be back soon but the feeling I have for her can't wait to see her every day. It will be torture for me but I have to be tough or decisive for myself so that this feeling will not be a hindrance in our way of living.
"I will be fine, Astryd. You'll come back shortly, right? You said?" I reassured.
Astryd nodded. "Yes, I am, Wanda." She said and pulled me closer to her as she engulfed me with her surprise hug again.
