"What?!" In shock, the empress nearly leaped out of his chair. " Do you know what was used to poison her?" While asking, the empress took a moment of quiet.
"No, that has not yet been determined by the Imperial Physician." Eunuch Gao answered with a courteous bow.
"To Baihe yard now!" The empress didn't have time to process anything, but the only thing he knew was that such an innocent girl wasn't ready for death yet.
Eunuch Gai complied, saying, "This lowly one shall call the palanquin over now, you're majesty." He couldn't help but believe that the perpetrator of this act was a fool. T hey choose to act as soon as the empress assumes power? That insulted the empress, didn't it? Wasn't that a literal blow to the face?
A few while later, the palanquin showed up. The empress climbed inside and drove to Baihe Yard. Although the empress's palace was more beautiful, Baihe Yard had its own allure. Flowers were abundant in Baihe Yard because Ping Zou Biya enjoyed them. Each of these unique flowers was lovely in its own right, and together they created a lovely landscape. But given what was happening, nobody had time to enjoy the pretty scenery.
The journey to Baihe Yard took the empress around fifteen minutes. He hastily made his way to the inner room as soon as he arrived. When he entered the inside room and saw Ping Zou Biya's face, he immediately fell silent. She seemed to be dead because of how pale her face was.
"Have you still not found anything Imperial Physician?" The empress turned and asked him as he narrowed his eyes.
Despite a little tremor in his finger, the Imperial Physician firmly answered "no."
"I just hope that Imperial Physician Li won't come to regret his response." The empress issued a chilling warning. "Since it appears that not even the Imperial Physician can help, I might as well handle things myself." Sneering, the empress mocked.
"We appear to need a thorough inquiry, Li Dani, summon Imperial Wife Yan over." The empress said as he berated the servants and the Imperial Physician with mocking eyes. When the servants heard, the empress they all trembled
Official Huang, Yun Shi's father, was regarded as a prodigy in the criminal justice system. He had never given up on a case and had resolved some of the most puzzling ones the empire had ever seen. He wed Tang Ya to be his primary spouse. Despite the fact that they were politically wed, he treated Tang Ya with the respect she deserved. Later, he took concubines Suyin and Mei into his home. One son and one daughter were born to concubine Suyin and one son was born to concubine Mei.
Tang Ya didn't bother fighting them for favor because she had no affections for Official Huang. Before he married them over, Official Huang told them directly that he didn't feel anything for them; they all reacted by saying they agreed and understood. But they couldn't help but be seduced by the charming young man
Politics conversation between Tang Ya and Official Huang led to the development of romantic impulses. But Tang Ya was reluctant to entirely give in to Official Huang because he had two other wives. Official Huang agreed because he still felt a sense of obligation to his other wives They were not a loving husband and wife, but rather like lifelong companions.
Tang Ya became pregnant quickly after becoming more engaged with her husband. During this time, the concubines began rebelling, but when she gave birth to a girl, all were relieved. In addition, the doctor indicated that it would be difficult for her to conceive again after such a painful delivery, so how could they be concerned about a barren woman. Later, they regretted their dumb decisions.
Yun Shi developed into a smart young woman. She would linger in her father's office during the other kids' playtime. She would sneak into her father's office when the girls were learning etiquette to study crimes. She gradually began to surpass her brothers and sister. Even her father was amazed when she successfully resolved her first case at the age of fourteen. His sons didn't come close to matching his daughter's talent. He began instructing his daughter after seeing that it wasn't just a passing curiosity.
The empire began to notice Yun Shi's brilliance over time, and even before her father, she was given the prodigy label for her talent. Prior to learning her techniques, everyone was happy that there was another prodigy in the empire. Contrary to other investigators, she didn't physically harm or torture her suspects; instead, she played mental games with them, and sometimes they lost all knowledge of who they were.
The public was alarmed by her approach, which even outperformed that of her father. The ability to stand next to her was even beyond her siblings. She had since been selected as the mansion's heir, but who would have imagined that when her father was away, the emperor would take her in as a concubine? But even so, she continued to be the heir, so her abilities remained intact.
Now that she was going to question them. Many of the maids were so anxious that some of them immediately passed out. Some of them began telling the empress everything they knew, but their information was useless.
As soon as Imperial Wife Yan arrived, she took the suspects to the Imperial Prison for questioning. They brought over the Imperial Physician as well. He appeared even more tense than the servants did.
"Call Imperial Physician Yan and bring him over." The empress gave the command as she scanned the remaining maids with her eyes.
"Your majesty's instructions have been received by this maid." Shi Jie, Ping Zou Biya's most dependable maid, answered with a smile on her face. She was pleased that the empress decided to handle these issues on his own. How could their healthy mistress suddenly become so ill that she was on the edge of death? It was obvious that someone was working behind the scenes. And based on the way the Imperial Physician is acting, he was likely a part of the scheme as well.
