We watch the Earth take its final breath. Humankind began to decline, and previously unseen species began to emerge—Earth was a blank canvas ready to be repainted.
Earth and its people were altered, but certain people remained. They hid in plain sight to avoid the enraged hunters who would do anything to steer clear of the new Earth of endlings. These hunters have put an end to these people, but not all of them.
During a tragic chase between the hunters and that family on the blue seas, two of them drowned and two survived, however, one of the survivors was cursed to be bound to the ship their family was boarding.
People like them are what we call the Remnants.
