This should suffice.

I curled my body into a sleeping position as I lay on the parachute. I spotted this cave just before it became dark outside, I even started a small fire to keep me warm.

I wonder where those two went. I probably lost them when I did that stunt earlier where I jumped from a cliff. I didn't get injured though because I landed again on the water.

My eyes went to the stuff that was laying beside me, it was the parts of the device that are disassembled by me. My luck won't be tonight because I can't fix it without searching for some materials in the woods.

I probably should rest. Before closing my eyes, I rested my hand against my chest where the pendant should be resting. I'm going to take it back.

"Mind sharing a space?"

My eyes shot open upon hearing a voice from the entrance of the cave. I thought they won't find me here, but I was wrong.

"Can we do this tomorrow, guys? I'm tired." I yawned and shut my eyes closed.

"I don't think so. It has been a very long time since I have slept."

What now?

I rolled over and looked at the owner of the voice. The person was unfamiliar. Wait, are the rescue team already here? With a hopeful feeling, I quickly stood up and fixed the parachute I was laying in.

"Thank goodness. I thought I'll be lost here forever. Just leave the other details to my father and tell him that the aircraft maker failed to check the machinery...um." I abruptly stopped when the person was no longer leaning against the cave.

Am I dead? Why am I seeing a goddess in front of me? I stood quietly while taking in the features of the woman I was facing.

"You don't mind sharing a space, do you?"

My mind became blank, and words won't come out of my mouth. The woman showed me a smile before bending down to lay the parachute on the ground again.

"Come on, I heard that you're tired."

I slowly turned around to see the woman patting down the space between her. If I am already dead, I might as well spend the time sleeping beside a goddess.

A smile crept to my lips as I lay down beside her. So, there was really no rescue team...I won't get out of this island yet.

I peeked at the person beside me and saw that she was already sleeping. That was fast.

I decided to also sleep and hopefully, the woman is still beside me when I woke up in the morning.

---

The morning came by and I was awoken by the sunlight hitting me directly in the face. I rolled to my side expecting to see the woman and to my surprise, she was still there, sleeping so peacefully. I am not dead!

Everything seems so real and I even watched her sleep, which I know sounds creepy so I decided to just sit up and stretch my body.

I collected the parts of the device and started to work on it while the woman is still asleep. I was so close to fixing it but I am missing a material to support the wires. Right, they don't have that kind of material here in the woods.

The only option I have is to find a sap but the numerous trees around me might take me a long time. Well, maybe this sleeping woman has skills that could help me fix the device.

I was so eager to wake her up but I remember that I haven't eaten yet and my stomach started to make a noise.

"Time for fishing," I whispered to myself

I hid the parts of the device somewhere before grabbing the piece of stick I have found yesterday. I made sure to pick a stick that has a sharpened end, and to my luck, I have found a couple of them.

I took off my jacket since it was too hot outside. I have an idea in my head and it was to cover a part of the woman's body with my jacket.

I walked outside the cave and started my walk to the ocean. I haven't heard any beasts lurking around the woods, and another proof is that I am still alive and not eaten by them.

I reached the shore of the ocean and my focus went to the fishes that swam freely around.

"There you are, princess."
