Mr. Urgancıoğlu

This month has been like a living hell. First the situation with Y/N, then the fight with my dad. Lord knows what will happen next. At least today should be more manageable. Aside from the fact, that it is another day of trying to get close to Y/N. Every day, when she walks into my office to get the daily schedule, I have to resist the urge to kiss her.

As I walk towards the elevators on the first floor, I hear Poyhaz call out for me. Because of his previous advances towards Y/N, I find it hard to be cordial with him. "What is it Poyhaz?", I ask tiredly. "Have you seen Y/N?", he asks worriedly. Trying not to lose my self-restraint, I reply, "No, but I'm sure she is just running late. Speaking of work, why aren't you doing yours?" Frustration becomes evident in his eyes, and he snaps back, "I was doing my work Mr. Urgancıoğlu, but then Y/N came and said that she was going to discuss some things with Ms. Yavuz until you arrived. She wanted me to tell in case she wasn't back by the time you came in. However, I just went to give some papers to Ms. Yavuz and she said that she hasn't seen or spoken to Y/N at all today." His words make my heart fall to my stomach. Without letting him say anything else, I pull out my phone and call Y/N. After three rings, the call is answered, but it's not Y/N. "Who am I speaking to?", I ask the person on the other end of the line impatiently. "Mr. Urgancıoğlu? This is Defne, Y/N's friend. She slept over at my house last night and forgot her phone when she left for work this morning," I hear Defne say. Worried more than ever, I hang up the call and enter the elevator. When the doors open on the thirteenth floor, I walk directly to Ms. Yavuz's office. She is slightly startled when I suddenly bust through her office door. "What's wrong Kaan?", she asks. "Y/N's missing from the building. Poyhaz said she was here earlier this morning, and the last time he saw her she was on her way to come and see you," I respond. Her eyes now also fill with worry, and she picks up the office phone. After a while, whoever she called answers. "Eymen, we have a missing employee who we need to find. Can Mr. Urgancıoğlu and I come and look at the secuirty camera footage right now?" Hanging up the phone she stands up from her desk and walks out the office. As I follow her, we enter the elevators and head to the seventh floor. Once on the seventh floor, we walk over to an office in the far-right corner. There are multiple computers in the room and a few men looking at them all. A man walks up to us and says, "Hello Mr. Urgancıoğlu. Ms. Yavuz says that one of the employees are missing. If you two will follow me, we should be able to find her within minutes." He walks us over to a big screen that is in front of the computers. The screen displays footage from multiple cameras. "About when did the employee in question enter the building?," Eymen asks, while looking at the footage. "I suppose around seven," I reply. He looks back at one of the men and says, "Ayaz, push back the footage to seven o'clock this morning." Once the footage is pushed back he instructs Ms. Yavuz and I to look carefully for Y/N. After a while of carefully looking, I spot her. I point it out to Eymen and he instructs Ayaz to Y/N's movements. I watch anxiously as Y/N moves throughout different rooms on the thirteenth floor. Eventually, she enters one of the elevators. Ayaz pulls up the live footage of the inside of the elevator. There, sitting terrified in the corner, is Y/N. "How was this not spotted?", Eymen asks in a raised tone. "The call button was not pressed, so footage was not actively reviewed sir," Ayaz replies. I tell Ms. Yavuz to call the elevator repair men as I run out of the office. When I reach the elevator Y/N is in I call out her name. After a while of calling with no answer, I guess that she was either headed up or down when the elevator stopped. Not knowing if I should go to the twelfth or fourteenth floor, I go and find Poyhaz. Once I find him, I instruct him to go to the fourteenth floor, while I go to the twelfth. I decide to not take a chance with the elevators, so I use the stairs to get to the bottom floor. Again, I go to the elevator that Y/N is in and call out her name. After a while, I barely hear her voice call back, "Mr. Urgancıoğlu?" Relieved to hear her, I say, "Don't worry Y/N, the repair man will be here soon, and we will get you out of there." I hear her faint sobs and her say, "I'm sorry Mr. Urgancıoğlu. I didn't mean to cause you so much trouble." The repair men arrive and a flood of relief hits me. It takes about thirty minutes for them to be able to get the elevator doors to open, but when they do, I rush towards Y/N and embrace her. Everyone on the floor is watching us, but I don't care. All I can focus on at the moment is Y/N. Comfort comes over me, when I feel her arms wrap around my waist. Eventually, I pull away and look over her to make sure she is not injured in any way. "If you don't mind Mr. Urgancıoğlu, we need to check the call button and get it fixed," one of the repair men say. I look at him, then back at Y/N. Her head is lowered, so I take her hand in mine and walk us out of the elevator. Ignoring the gaze of the other employees, I guide Y/N to the staircase. Once we arrive back on the thirteenth floor, Ms. Yavuz rushes up towards us. "Y/N! You had us all so worried. Are you ok?", she asks. Y/N nods her head in embarrassment. Not wanting to keep her in this uncomfortable situation, I pull her towards our office. When we enter, I close the door with my other hand. She lets go of my hand in order to go to her desk, but I keep a firm grip on it as I continue to walk us into my office. Once inside, I close the door to my office and lock it. Her eyes look at the doorknob, then up at me.

Y/N

I know it was wrong to feel that way, but when the elevator doors opened and I saw Kaan's face, all I wanted was to be close to him. When he took me into his arms, comfort came over me and I felt at peace. The prying eyes of all the other employees had me feeling nervous. Especially, when I saw Ms. Yavuz coming up towards us. However, Kaan's hand holding mine tightly kept me calm. After Ms. Yavuz made sure that I was ok, Kaan walked us to our office area. I expected him to let go of my hand once we were in my office, but he didn't. He kept on walking until we were in his office. Closing and locking the door he turns to face me.

Now we are just looking at each other. I'm nervous, but not in a scared type of way. "Please say something already," I internally plead him. With his hand still holding mine, he uses his other to cup my cheek as he closes the space between us. He presses his forehead against mine, and for a while, all I hear is the sounds of everyone working. "I was so worried about you Y/N," he finally says deeply. I don't respond to his statement, so he asks me, "Where were you headed?" I fear telling him the truth, so I instead say, "To see Ms. Yavuz." Suddenly, he turns us around and pushes my back against the door. "Don't lie to me Y/N. You were already on the same floor as Ms. Yavuz. There was no need for you to to use the elevator," he says through gritted teeth. I try to get out of the cage he has put me in, but to no avail. "Where were you headed Y/N?," he asks in a raised tone. Lowering my head, I reply, "I was going to share a coffee in the second story cafe with Poyhaz." Slowly lifting my head, I see a variety of emotions flash in his eyes, surprise, anger, and then sadness. Exhaling deeply, he lets go of my hand and moves two steps back from me. "Get out of here. You're fired. I can't stop my feelings for you, but I can keep you away from me. It may be fun for you to play with my emotions, but I'm tired of it. Get out," he says in a low, yet angry tone. Not wanting to make him blow up, I leave the office and the building without another word.
