Y/N

Kaan unbuttons his suit coat as he makes his way towards me. Once he is right in front me, he asks, "What you want to talk about?" "I need to explain why I was going to see Poyhaz the other day," I reply. He snickers as he turns around and heads for the staircase. Usually, I would give up, but not this time. I rush in front of him as he begins to ascend the stairs. He looks up at me with frustration. Suddenly all my determination is gone, and I go back to seeing him only as my boss. If he thinks I have feelings for Poyhaz, then let him think that. Lowering my head, I step to the side and let him continue walking up the stairs.

The next day is spent mainly packing up and completing a few more work obligations. Around four we head off to the airport. As usual, the entire ride is spent in silence. Once we board the plane, I again sit in the seat across from Mr. Urgancıoğlu. As I begin to work on my tablet, Mr. Urgancıoğlu reaches over and takes it out of my hands. "What are you doing?", I ask him imperatively. He glares at me, and I realize how disrespectful my tone was. I rest back into my seat and watch carefully as he looks through the tablet. Soon, he seems satisfied and hands it back to me. After I take it back, he continues to keep him arm outstretched. I look at him with a confused expression. "Give me your phone," he says. "Why do you need my phone?", I ask in a vexed tone. He exhales deeply and repeats, "Your phone Y/N." I press against my seat in order to feel a since of security. Now angry, he stands up and pulls me up by my arm. His hand reaches into my pants pocket and pulls out my phone. I try to take it away from him but am unsuccessful. The minute the phone screen lights up, Kaan looks at me again and asks, "What's your passcode?" Reluctantly, I reply, "5-9-1-9-8-1." As I tell him the code, his expression becomes tender. The click of the phone unlocking causes him to become focused again. He taps on the messenger app, and immediately goes to my chat with Poyhaz. As he scrolls through the messages, his grip on my arm tightens and his eyes become dark. At some point, he stops scrolling and looks directly into my eyes. My heartbeat is rapid and causes my chest to burn. I fear that if I make any attempt to talk, he will blow up like a stick of dynamite with no fuse left to burn. "The plane is ready for takeoff Mr. Urgancıoğlu," the co-pilot informs Kaan from the plane entrance. "Then lift off," he yells at the man without breaking eye contact with me. Without question, the man nods his head and shuts the door. Then, he walks into the cockpit and closes the door. Kaan looks at me for a few more seconds, before pushing me back down into my seat. "Buckle up," he demands as he too sits down and buckles himself.

Ms. Yavuz is at the gate waiting for us when the plane lands. My heart lightens as I see her wave to us. Once my feet come in contact with the ground, I begin to walk towards her. However, I am stopped by Kaan. "Stay put Miss Y/N," he commands firmly. A shiver runs down my spine, and my heart again becomes heavy with anxiousness. Once Kaan collects all of his things, he places his hand on the small of my back and guides me towards Ms. Yavuz. Once we reach her, she asks how the trip was. Immediately, Kaan responds that it was like any other business trip. Ms. Yavuz smiles slyly and tells Kaan, "Why don't you go and get the bags while I review the meeting notes with Miss Y/N. Kaan looks at me with an expression that threatens me to not tell Ms. Yavuz a thing about our exchange in the plane. Once he is out of sight, Ms. Yavuz turns towards me and says, "Ok. Let's hear it." I play the fool and ask her what she means. "You really think I didn't just see that? Let me guess, you tried to fix the misunderstanding you two had the other day and he wanted no part of the conversation," she states rather confidently. Before I can verify her statement, Kaan returns. "Everything seems like it went well Miss Y/N. We will review the rest of the notes tomorrow morning," Ms. Yavuz says with a slight smile. Kaan drops my bag by my feet and tells Ms. Yavuz, "Y/N is no longer a part of the company." "Have you forgotten that hiring and firing is not within your jurisdiction?", she asks in a tone that implies she is stating rather than asking.

Mr. Urgancıoğlu

Ms. Yavuz's words cause my stomach to churn with anger as I think of my father. "She'll work from my house then," I say quickly. Y/N's eyes widen, and she looks at me in shock. Ms. Yavuz seems equally shocked as she says, "She's your assistant, and you are at the office eight hours a day. How is she supposed to do her job when she won't even be with you?" "I'll work from home," I respond. Realizing that I am not going to change my mind, Ms. Yavuz nods her head. "It's getting dark. If you still want your job Miss Y/N, then I suggest you get a move on," I say before walking away towards the limo. Soon, Y/N walks up beside me.

When we arrive at the house, I get out of the limo without even waiting for Y/N. Once we enter the house, I take her bag from her and walk up the stairs to one of the bedrooms. "This will be yours during your stay here," I say as I drop her bag on the bed. As I make my way out, Y/N asks, "May I have my phone back now Mr. Urgancıoğlu?" Anger runs through my veins as I remember the texts between she and Poyhaz. I leave the room without answering her question. Before I even reach the top of the staircase, I hear Y/N rush out of the room and yell, "Stop treating me like this just because I am not reciprocating your affection. I have no feelings for Poyhaz. That's what I was going to make clear to him the other day. If you would have given me a chance to explain myself, you would have saved yourself a lot of heartache." I swiftly turn around and walk directly up to her. "Understand this Miss Y/N, I don't care what you were going to tell Poyhaz the other day. What I care, or should I say, cared about, was how you felt about me. It doesn't matter anymore though, because it's too late for you to have a say in anything from now on. You made your last independent decision this afternoon, when you agreed to continue working for me. Now, you follow my instructions. I would suggest that you not try and go against them either. Have a good evening, Miss Y/N," I tell her firmly, as I turn away and head down the stairs.
