You stared at your breakfast with your stomach already full...of nerves. Who had known that this day would have come this quick.
You had been thinking that Sendou Atsushi would have warned you a few days prior but it seemed that either he didn't consider that necessary or it slipped his mind because early that moning, you had been woken up with a sudden information given to you which was—you were to go to school that day.
You hadn't even known when you had been enrolled into the school or why no one told you about this, but what sucked the most was that you hadn't prepared yourself for this day at all.
You had already checked yourself in the mirror six times, and made sure again and again that you were in your proper school uniform and looked like any normal school girl, other than the fact that your knuckles were bandaged.
"It's gonna be fine." Max told you again and again, "They'll all love you. You trust Sendou, don't you? I mean....he does seem like a trrustworthy kid..."
You did somewhat trust Mr. Pompadour, but the fact that you hadn't seen him in days now made your trust waver slightly. You couldn't help but question yourself again and again, why did you not see him around? He was your literal neighbor for fuck's sake.
Could he be trying to avoid you? Could he be wanting to forget the fact that he befriended you? Could your stupid overthinking capacities ever reduce?
"Mrs. Sendou said that the boy's been hanging around with his friends ever since the exams ended." your uncle said, "She said he'll walk you to school today and he'll make all his friends meet you."
Whether this reduced or increased your peaking nervousness and anxiety, you didn't know, but what you did know was that you were going to come home being tired to the point that you would want to skip school the next day, not of what was done at school but of excessive emotions and interactions.
"Half the class would crush on her.." Bruce said so casually that it took a second for his words to register into the minds of the rest of you, and of course Tony and Max choked out, turning to look at each other with horrified looks.
They both weren't very protective but it seemed that things might change around here, probably because of the existence of delinquents.
"This doesn't help, Bruce." you groaned out, banging your head against the table, "I don't want to go."
"Eat the food.." your aunt sighed tiredly, "It'll go fine. And for God's sake, Max and Tony stop looking at each other like that, you will have no relation with her school life. Let her live for once."
"That doesn't help either..." you pouted, making you uncle chuckle as he gently patted your hair. "Eat." he said, his eyes full of adoration, "You're going to need a lot of energy to make through today."
You sighed, finally taking a few bites of your food before the doorbell rang and an "It's me Atsushi, is (L/N)-chan ready?" called out from outside.
"Grab a sandwich and hurry up!" Max said, walking over to hug you tight, "Believe in yourself, beat up anyone who annoys you and have a good day!"
You deadpanned at him while walking towards the door and finally sighing and inhaling deeply before opening the door to reveal Sendou Atsushi standing there with a small smile on his face.
"Good morning (L/N)-chan!" he said, stepping aside to let you out, "I couldn't meet you much for the past few days, kind of got a little busy with my friends..." he chuckled, slowly rubbing the back of his neck.
You would have tried to come up with something to say, but your attention was diverted to the various scratches and the few wound marks on his arms and face. Sendou's up lip was slightly swollen too and though you wanted to ask, something told you he wouldn't have told you how he was hurt.
