"They're just like this." Mitsuya grins at you as Smiley and Baji race off.

Baji has just won the arm wrestling and because Smiley isn't too happy about it, he follows up with a challenge to race. Typical little delinquents.

"What about you though, Mitsuya-san?" you turn towards him as the boys disappear, "I mean, I have had first hand experience of your muscle power but still, would you be stronger than them?"

Mitsuya smiles. "I still hold back while hitting friends, you're just lucky it wasn't Baji instead of me. He's one monster, but I guess I could do good enough against him. I mean, Baji did train with Mikey ever since he was young."

"He did?"

"Oh, they used to be neighbors. Baji basically had his childhood with Mikey in Mikey's family dojo."

You're not surprised at his family having a dojo at all. And Baji and Mikey being childhood friends explains a lot about Baji's opinion and demeanor towards Mikey.

"I wouldn't say I'm not strong, I mean, in Toman at least." Mitsuya hums as he beckons you to walk alongside him, and you add an "I wouldn't either" while rubbing your head. The boy finds the need to utter another series of apologies.

"How come you joined Toman?" you try to change the topic by a question you've been meaning to ask him and the Kawata twins.

You'd initially wanted to ask Baji too, but if he had been Mikey's childhood friend, him joining was obvious. You still had to ask Chifuyu.

Toman wasn't the villainous gang it would become in the future, but your last interaction with Kisaki did suggest that Mitsuya and Baji were still members (you don't realise, obviously, that he had used their names to only see whether you were the future or past self), but still, you were quite curious about why they'd all joined.

"Oh, me and Draken were friends. He introduced me to Mikey, and we became the team." Mitsuya looks somewhat at peace as he remembers the past, "They were good times, we all weren't even as good, but look how far we've come."

"Must be nice." you wonder how it would be to have had a close group for so long. Mitsuya seems to notice underlying thoughts with your words but decides it's not his place to inquire.

"By the way," you are suddenly brought to reality by a passing thought, "why exactly am I being called? I thought Mikey was satisfied with whatever he did last time."

Mitsuya chuckles. "No, it's not about taking revenge anymore." he hums, "You'd get to know on reaching there anyway, what's the point of ruining the surprise? It's nothing bad, don't worry about it, though."

"You seem like you love to see me react on spot." you point out, "As if my expression of shock and horror are too good to be missed. I have my poor heart too, Mitsuya-san. It can't take any more shocks from sweet-looking blond haired boys who turn out to be monstrous."

Mitsuya laughs. "I quite do." he admits, "It's refreshing. Everyone here at Toman is all energy and leg-pulling. I think that's why the others like to bring you along when we hang out. You're quite refreshing."

"Is there no girl in the gang?"

"No." he shrugs, "There's Emma, though she's always trying to hit on Draken, you're not allowed to mention to anyone. She's always around but she's not exactly a member."

You agree to not talk about her, although on any further questioning about this Emma, Mitsuya smiles and says he has a feeling you'd meet her anyway, and you'd know who exactly she is then.

Something tells you you'd be blown on knowing her.

"So," there's suddenly a glint of mischief in his rigid grey eyes, "I'm inclined to ask, who among all the boys is your favorite?"
