Chapter 15

{Aomine POV}

It took me a few years to adjust to my daily life again. The guys were always here though, so part of it was thanks to them.

We graduated today.

"Congratulations!"

"Quick, take a picture!"

"Congrats..I guess."

"Go out with me! Please!"

Yeah, it was pretty crazy. The first day seemed so far away. Where had time gone?

"Aominecchi!" Kiss ran up to me, holding his awards from his school.

"The heck are you doing here?"

"Everyone was wondering if you wanted to meet up at Kagamicchi's place for a party!" He said. "Also congrats on graduation!"

"Yeah, yeah."

"So? Do you wanna go?"

"Lemme grab my things first."

"Ok! Meet me at the front!" He ran before a bunch of girls could catch up to him again.

Sighing because I know I'm going to lose a lot of energy, I headed toward the classroom to get my things.

"I heard her death anniversary is next week...I wonder what he's gonna do..."

"Shh! He's right there!"

I stared at the two students who shut up as soon as they saw me. They were at Satsuki's desk, where the other students had put flowers next to her picture. The girl held a small bouquet in her hand.

"Just...wanted to say hi, and sorry..." She said, placing the flowers on her desk. "S-Since she graduates today too..."

"Yeah..." I walked to my desk, grabbing my bag. "Thanks."

"Y-You're welcome!"

I walked out of the classroom, heaving a sigh.

Congrats, Satsuki...You've finally graduated...

"Let's go out with the guys when we graduate high school, Dai-chan!"

"We've still got two whole years, dummy. Don't get excited yet."

"A girl can dream! How about we go out and eat some expensive steak?"

I smiled to myself, walking down the hall and out of the building.

"Aominecchi! Over here!"

"Yeah, yeah, I see you."

We walked towards Kagami's house, acknowledging the silence between us.

"Satsuki wanted to eat steak when we graduated."

"Huh?"

"She was never allowed to buy expensive food. So she really wanted to stuff herself with a big, expensive steak. Her mouth watered just at the thought."

"Ohhh..."

"Let's tell them we should go eat somewhere expensive today."

Kise beamed. "OK! And today, I'll pay!"

"Seriously? Nice. Let me pick out a 5-star restaurant then."

"Eh—?! No, I'm not that rich!"

"You said you'll pay, don't tell me you're backing on me now?"

"Hmph. Fine! For Momocchi!"

I chuckled.
