Jimin was strolling around the mall. He was bored. Though it was the weekend, he didn't have anyone with him. Yoongi was busy meeting people he could work under for his internship. Jungkook was unavailable. His mom has been staying at the hospital post-operation and Jungkook was looking after her while Hoseok worked. Namjoon sleeps during the day. He also called Taehyung but he said there is something he needs to do that day. He has just finished shopping for clothes and a gift for his mother's upcoming birthday. He was walking around scanning shops when he caught sight of someone who looked like Taehyung.
"Is that him? I thought he was busy." Jimin muttered to himself.
His mistrusting nature kicked in. He followed. He saw him enter a café. Taehyung sat at one of the tables and checked his phone. Jimin stealthily positioned himself among the seats offered outside. He wore his sunglasses, mask and cap. He brought out his phone to text Jungkook but as he was about to, he noticed a familiar pair of heels passed by his sight. No. He thought. He subtly looked up and recognized Ellie.
"What the fucking shit." He quietly hissed.
Jimin was rightfully pissed with her because of her actions that one night at the bar. There was no doubt that she was trying to seduce Taehyung. He watched her when she grabbed his hand, desperately pretending that she was only comparing them, and taking advantage after. He was even willing to forgive her. If not for her sorry attempts at flirting.
"Your fingers are long. That's why they feel good." The fuck.
Taehyung didn't her the rest of her repulsive comment though. His attention was quickly returned to Jungkook. Jimin didn't mince his words when he confronted her that night. Since then, they stopped talking. He didn't regret anything. He won't allow a traitor in his circle. Especially a traitor who intends to hurt his Kook's heart. He wondered if Taehyung will be one too. He prayed to the heavens for it to not come true.
Ellie went in, called for Taehyung's attention and poised for a hug. Taehyung didn't welcome it though. It's subtle but it was obvious. He took a step back and put both of his hands inside his pockets. Ellie was noticeably embarrassed. Jimin smirked. He originally planned to storm in but he stayed put and let things play for a while. He thought maybe there was a reason for this meeting. Maybe Jungkook knew about it.
His phone rang.
"Hello?" He greeted. He didn't check the screen. He was too absorbed with his observation.
"What are you doing?" He didn't have to check to know whose voice it was.
"I'm at the mall."
"Shopping?" Yoongi asked.
"Yeah. But I'm done."
"What are you doing now?"
"I'm on a mission."
"What?"
"Call me later. I'm busy doing espionage."
"Keep your nose out of other people's business."
"This is also my business. I said call me later!"
"Fine. Fine. I'm hanging up. Good luck with your mission."
"Thank you. Love you."
"Yeah."
Yoongi ended the call. Jimin continued spying. He can't make what they were saying. Ellie looked worried. Taehyung was giving her assuring smiles. She seemed like she was pleading. Jimin narrowed his eyes. His phone rang again.
"I said call me later!!" Jimin hissed.
"Why are you mad?" Jungkook asked. "What are you doing? I'm bored. Taehyung is not answering my calls."
