"She looks just like you!" Taehyung happily told Seokjin. "Soojin. Soojin, I'm uncle Taetae."

He was perched on the side of her crib, reaching out to gently touch her tiny tummy.

"I will show her to..." His voice trailed off.

Seokjin eyed him knowingly. "You can if you want to. Why are you stopping yourself?"

"I'm still not ready." He snorted.

"What are you talking about?" Their mother interrupted. "Settling down? I bet your children will look just like you too, Tae. It seemed like our blood is strong." She said as she tickled Soojin's cheeks.

Taehyung dropped his gaze, unable to maintain against Seokjin's questioning eyes.

"What happened to your last one?" She casually asked. "Find a girl. Settle down. Build a family. Have children. So you have someone to take care of you when you're old and you won't be alone."

Taehyung has not thought that far ahead before. But having Soojin in his arms has ignited a new dream. He wanted to have his own children. He wondered if Jungkook would want it for himself too. And what would that mean for them because they can't give each other one.

And even though he didn't mean to, it prevented him from coming back to him. He felt like he was weighing between his two utmost dreams. On the one hand, he desired to grow old with Jungkook but on the other, he wanted to watch his own children grow.

He drifted even farther away for the next two years. He would often receive congratulatory emails from Jungkook whenever he closed a deal. He would be greeted by him during his birthdays and other holidays. In the past, he indulged himself with two replies at most and a 'Happy Birthday' every September 1st. But this time around, he just leave his messages on read.

He travelled from one country to another for both work and leisure. He found peace in arts when he fell in love with going to museums. Music offered him solace. He particularly liked old tunes and jazz. He tried to learn violin, piano, saxophone and trumpet. He also played sports like tennis and golf. He became a wine enthusiast. Being a wine aficionado wasn't exactly his plan but he learned to appreciate wines, and eventually grew interested, when he turned to them during his lonely nights.

He was staying in Vegas to finish a professional schedule. They've just finished a dinner meeting when their business partner suggested to visit a bar for an after party. He was sipping on his whiskey when one of the executives of the other company approached him. She is the same age as him and a Korean-American. She has feline features: narrow, slanted eyes, straight nose and small lips. She gives off a cold, strong, sexy aura. As opposed to the warm, adorable features of a bunny.

"Are you going back to South Korea after this?" She asked.

"Not right away. I have to finish something first in LA. And I've been meaning to visit Napa Valley and go on a tour around the vineyards there." He replied.

"You're an oenophile?"

"Just recently."

"Do you want to go around? I can accompany you. I know the best wine bars here."

"Sure." He smiled.

"When are you free?"

"Can we go tomorrow?"

"We can do that." She beamed.

Taehyung felt his phone vibrate inside his coat. He took it out and saw Jisoo's name on the screen. It was time for his regular video call with Soojin.

"Let me just get this one." He curtly asked to leave.

He went out of the bar and sat at the waiting area outside. He swiped to answer.
