"Hey, Antti."
It was the next week of school when school just got out that day.
Antti was walking to the parking lot to go over to his dad, but turned around to talk. They were the hockey guys. "Yea?"
"If you're so 'excited' about showing off your water tricks, why don't you show 'em to us?"
"Wait, what?" Antti made a confused look.
"You showed them to us, you showed them to the class, so why don't you show 'em to us again?"
"Why now?" Antti hugged himself.
"Wow, so seem so eager to show them..." The leader crossed his arms.
"But why do you want to see them now? You walked away last time."
"But why don't you want to show 'em off now? You were so excited about it."
The parents of the boys came up to pick them up, but stopped when they saw Antti.
"What's going on?" a lady asks.
"He-he has powers!" The leader pointed to Antti. "Water powers! He can control water and-and yea!"
"Wait, what you are doing?" Antti snapped.
"Water? Control water?" All the parents were shocked. "He can kill us!"
"Drown us!"
"Kyllä!" (Yes!)
"This can't slip past us!"
"He's dangerous!"
"He can't control it!"
They kept rambling on and on of what bad things Antti can do to them with his powers.
Antti tried to get out of the circle and look for his dad, but the lady who spoke first held him back with her arm.
"You can not going anywhere!" she hissed at him.
"No!" Antti tried to go around her, but she was big and quick.
Meanwhile at the other side of the parking lot, Mr. Niemi was ambling down the street when a parent ran over to him.
"Mr. Niemi!"
"Yes?"
"I think your son's in trouble."
"What? Trouble?" He sped over to where Antti was at. "What's going on over here?!" He roared.
"Mr. Niemi! Thank God you came! Your son has powers! Powers that can kill!" the lady said in a sigh of relieve.
"Dad!!!" Antti attempted to run over to his father, but he was blocked once again.
"Powers? No, that's not true! My son's normal! He doesn't kill. Get your hands off of him and everything'll be fine!"
"No, it's true!" another parent shouted. "His classmates said so!"
"I don't believe in some kids, I believe in what I see and I never ever saw my son doing magic!"
"I trust my kid! He'll never make up such thing!"
"I can handle this! Just let him go!"
"He can't be around any of us--he can drown us all in a snap!"
"That's not true! He can't do that!!!"
They continued arguing while frustration and adrenaline began to rise to Antti; his powers were going to out any second.
And they did.
Antti yelled while a blast of water came out of him, wiping everyone out to the ground.
Everyone stared at Antti in shock and fright at what he had just done.
"Antti..?" His father's eyes were wide.
Antti steps back a bit in fear then fleed the school grounds, running back to his house with tears streaming down his eyes.
He busted into his house.
"Hello, Antti!" Mrs. Niemi greeted him from the kitchen.
Antti just ignored her and rushed into his room. He throws himself on his bed and wept.
Now they know. That night Antti's parents were having a talk about what to do with him now that he has powers. Antti was overhearing them from the hall, yet out of sight.
"I can't believe this is happening," Mr. Niemi grumbled. "He is not normal. He's supernatural!"
"But that shouldn't stop us from treating him the same way--"
"I don't like this!" He stood up aburptly. "I don't want my son to have any magical powers or whatever they're called! I want him to be normal and well-respected. I want him to be fitting and intelligent! I don't want him standing out!"
"Sometimes we just can't control some things. This is one of the things we can't control. There's nothing we can do about him."
Mr. Niemi sighed. "First hockey and now this. Everything is going down hill--"
"You're making everything go down hill--"
"Me?!" He pointed. "Now you're blaming this on me?"
"You freak out on every little thing. You have very high expectations for Antti. You never let him have a chance to choose---"
"Because I don't want him to make bad choices; that's why."
"You know what? Let's just pretend that everything is normal, nothing supernatual happened and let Antti stay at school and see how he does, okay?"
Mr. Niemi sighs again. "Okay. Let's see how that goes."
During that week, things didn't go too well. Antti began to be made fun of for his powers, which caused the drop of his grades. His father didn't help that much either when he found out about the bad grades and on top of that, Mrs. Niemi suddenly died.
