"Okay, just like that!" Rory laughed as he took photos of the group. He didn't really like to be in them so he had been offered the best job of the night.

"Hurry up and take it, Mr. Photogropher," Finn smacked her lips at him.

With the backdrop, we had all gotten our proper attire on and took photos. It was nice to laugh the day away with my friends and Somer. Along with eating for the first half of the day, we had decided that pictures were last before we would dance. I made sure to make a playlist with all of our favorite songs on River's Spotify account.

I didn't have premium and hearing an ad after every other song probably would've ruined the vibe that I wanted to give Somer. I wanted tonight to be perfect and having to hear about how they're thankful I listen to Spotify and not some 8-track tape, if I even knew what it looked like, would've ruined it.

"It's already seven, don't you think the first dance should commence?" River asked, looking at me with raised brows.

"They're right, we have to dance with everyone tonight!" Somer declared. She had raised her hand in the air as if she was holding a sword. Funny girl.

"Alright, I think that's doable. So, who has the playlist?"

"I do," I said as I walked over to Dakota.

He had started to set up the little radio that I had brought. Luckily they had gifted me the radio for our first birthdays together and not later, I don't think it would look as nice as having to play music in one of our cars.

"And the dancing starts!" I yelled as I turned the playlist on.

We all danced as the song played on. There was one that I was surprised Somer even knew because it was from one of my favorite bands.

Now everybody's dead

And they're driving past my old school

And he's got his gun, and he's got his suit on

And she says babe, 'you look so cool'

You look so cool

We all laughed as we sang the lyrics. This part of the song was my favorite and whenever I listened to it, I wanted to scream it out. Soon or later, I'd go to a concert of theirs too. I wanted to scream it out with the band and feel the vibrations from the crowd, bigger than it was with the small crowd I had now.

Looking towards Somer, I saw that she was wrapped up in River and Henry's arms. The three of them were all smiling and singing the rest of the song. I liked the view and the feeling. Although the air was getting nippy, I felt the metaphoric warmth in my chest. My friends had become Somer's and Somer had become one of the group's. She was adopted.

"Hey, can we talk?" Dakota asked me.

"Uh, yeah, let's go somewhere without these people screaming," I laughed and followed him to the car. "What did you need?"

"Are you happy?"

"Huh?" I looked at Dakota. While Dakota was the 'normal' one out of us, I didn't think that he was the type to talk about feelings. It wasn't because he was a man or looked stronger than all of us, it was that he just kept those to himself. None of us really talked about our personal feelings, only about political stances on what would affect us.
