I woke up in my bed on my side with arms around my waist. I leaned my head back against Sebastian's chest.

"Are you awake?" he whispered.

"No," I whispered, giggling when he pressed soft, feathery kisses on the back of my neck.

"I didn't know sleeping people made so much noise," he teased, lifting the hand pinned under my body to hold onto my shoulder.

"Shh. I'm trying to sleep," I said.

"Actually, my dear, it is morning," Sebastian said, "Twenty minutes until six a.m."

"No. It's morning for you," I muttered.

"I thought you would want to help out in the kitchen," Sebastian said, "I suppose I will make Ciel's breakfast all by myself." He wiggled his arms free and sat up.

"You can't guilt me into helping you do your job," I said, opening one eye and glancing back at him. I was forced to admit he looked attractive. He was only wearing his pants, which left his figure exposed. I almost giggled at how pale my demon was.

"What is so humorous?" he asked, dressing his top half.

"You're pretty pale for a human," I said, "No one would know you spend multiple hours in the sun in a garden."

"My dear, you're one to talk about appearances. Your eyes have taken on a green hue once more."

I reached up to my eyes, as if that would do any good, and then jumped up out of bed and went to the mirror. Right, I needed glasses.

"Forgetting something?" Sebastian asked, standing behind me and placing my glasses on my nose.

"My eyes are not green right now," I said, glaring at his reflection.

"Yes, but you're awake now. Care to come to the kitchen?" he asked, leaning down and kissing my cheek.

"Fine. But only because I hate to see grown demons pout," I said.

"I don't pout," Sebastian said, sounding confused.

"Sure you don't," I said, "Get out so I can change."

He left with a thoughtful look on his face. Was he actually considering the possibility that he had pouted before. I snickered softly as I closed the door. I put one of the nice dresses Ciel had given me. I didn't know when to expect Grell, so as a thank you, I wore a red dress so that I would look as "presentable" as possible for him. In truth, I didn't mind. Red was a beautiful color. I left the corset underneath loose, so that it gently hugged my body instead of strangling it. I put on flat shoes, knowing I would have to walk around when we went to the circus, and then opened the door and hooked my arm with Sebastian's as we walked toward the kitchen.

I took on making some creme filling while Sebastian shaped the dough he had made sometime yesterday into small pastry puffs.

"My Lord asked that I tell you when you woke up that he has purchased that shop you took an interest in and you are free to visit and begin arranging it to your satisfaction whenever you like," Sebastian said.

"Thank you," I said, "I'll thank Ciel as well when we deliver his breakfast. Hey, Sebastian?"

"Yes, love?"

I leaped forward and spread some of the vanilla creme I had made on his nose with my finger.

"Got you!" I laughed.

Pink flashed in his eyes and a devilish grin spread across his lips, "Well, my dear, seeing as you've become faster, I won't show any mercy."

I dodged as he attempted to do the same to me. I hurried and ran out the door.
