Jax led Emma towards Charlie in the darkened night, the sand crunching underneath their shoes. The air wasn't cold anymore, it felt more humid. Jax's baby hairs stuck to his forehead a little because of the humidity.

"Hey Charlie," Jax greeted. "What's up?"

"Jax! Thank God, I thought you were some sort of axe murderer!" Charlie waved at the both of them.

"An axe murderer?" Jax chuckled.

"Long story." Charlie waved his hand. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your girl here?"

"Of course! Charlie, this is my girlfriend, Emma Alonso. Emma, this is Charlie," Jax said.

"Hi. How are you?" Emma smiled.

"Hey, I'm great! And yourself?" Charlie reached to shake her head.

"Great, thank you." She smiled.

"So where are you guys off to?" He asked.

"Anywhere. We're just wandering, really," Jax said.

"Oh, well, I should let you get to it. The night is young, you know," Charlie stated.

"I agree. Thanks man, I'll see you later." Jax waved.

"Thank you." Emma smiled.

Charlie nodded and handed them two plastic cups and hurried away.

Jax smiled at Emma and handed her a cup. "Let's find some shells, shall we?"
