Mr. Alonso dropped Emma off at the movies at around two in the afternoon.
"Thanks dad." Emma stepped out of the car.
"What time do I pick you up?" He wondered.
"I can probably get a ride. I'll call you," she said.
"Okay honey. Be careful, okay?"
"Of course. See you."
"See you later. Love you."
"I love you too," she said sweetly.
Emma watched her dad drive off and she walked into the theater. She saw Jax sitting on a bench just inside the glass doors.
Her heart began to race and her cheeks flushed. She briskly walked over to him.
He looked up and gave her a smile. "Emma."
"Hey," she said with a smile. She blinked a few times and sat down next to him.
He smiled at her and spiked up a conversation.
