Date Night

Bai he and Mk looked back and forth at the two monkey's as they lashed out at each other. The girl looked to her older brother with a worried face "will they be ok?"

Mk honestly didn't know how to answer, this fight seemed more explosive then the ones they used to have "I'm sure it'll be fine."

Macaque's fur bristled as he growled at his husband. Wukong's eye twitched in annoyance as a small growl rumbled in his chest. Liu er knew the king was to stubborn to back down but he was just going to cave this time. This fight was Wukong's fault any way, trying to head out on another journey.

Mk was supposed to be training as the kings successor, Bai he was starting her training so she could help her brother. Not only was Wukong half assing the training but he came in telling his mate he was leaving for a while. Something about accepting a job from Kuan Yin and having to travel for a while again.

Harsh words were thrown at each other and everything escalated, Macaque could feel himself trembling. Not this time, he wasn't going to lose his  mate this time. Macaque crossed his arms over his chest "if you leave we won't be here when you come back!"

Wukong's eyes widened and he snarled at the other "fine!"

The king internally beat himself up, why would he say that? He must be some kind of idiot. He didn't want to back down and now it would cost him his family. Why couldn't he just back down? Why couldn't he just shut up?

Liu er didn't waste another minute and stormed down the hall furious. Wukong followed right after calling his mates name.  The kids flinched as they heard a door slam and more muffled yelling.

"Still think they will be ok?" Bai he tugged on her brothers sleeve.

Before he could answer a shadow portal opened underneath the kids and they fazed through it. When they reappeared the kids were engulfed in a big hug. Macaque nuzzled into Mk's face then Bai he's, he was trying to soothe them. Mk ignored the affection in favor for taking in their surroundings. That when he noticed the home they were at, the Bull Families.

"Dad what are we doing here?" The brunette was concerned.

"I needed to get away and I wasn't going to leave you two behind" Macaque's ears drooped.

With out another word the monkey lead his kids inside to greet princess Iron Fan. The wind mage pulled Liu er into a hug and greeted Bai he and Mk. The Bull King followed behind his wife, welcoming the family into their home.

"Wukong will come to his senses" DBK huffed.

"He never does" Iron Fan rolled her eyes and Macaque just looked down.

"I'll have Red Son help your kids get situated" the bull ordered one of his minions to get his son.

It didn't take long before the red head had entered the room. He gave a small bow to his parents "you called?"

"Take Mk and Bai he to your room, they will be staying for a while" Iron Fan smiled.

"Of course mom" Red motioned the the kids to follow "come with me Monkey boy and girl."

The siblings followed behind the fire demon. Since Macaque was close with the Bull family so the siblings were well acquainted with the fire prince.

"So what happened between your parents?" Red Son glanced at Mk.

"They got into this really bad fight" The brunette sighed "I've never seen it this bad."

"They are gonna split up and we'll never see papa again" Bai he whimpered.

"So do something about it" Red scoffed.

"Huh? Like what?" Mk was a bit irritated with how nonchalant the other was.
