Erasing You

(Meiying and Silver are Ocs I'm using for this fic. I've played with the idea of Macaque erasing his memories before and they work perfectly for this.)

"Welcome to the Marble Fox, how can I help you?" A black haired woman chirped from behind the counter.

Macaque came up to the counter and smiled "long time no see."

"Liu er!" Rushing from behind the counter the woman pulled the monkey into a hug.

The monkey chuckled hugging her back  "meiying it's been to long."

"I'll say! Where have you been?" The woman smushed his cheeks before letting go.

"Well I got into a bit of trouble." The monkey rubbed the back of his head.

"Liu er" she had a worried tone in her voice.

"I keep torturing my self with wukong."

The Baker sighed "I've heard quite a bit about it, everyone's talking about his successor. "

Macaque sighed "I need a favor Kit."

She perked up at the use of her nickname, curious about what he needed.

"I wanna forget Kit" his voice was soft and slightly broken "I need to forget him."

Her eyes widen "Mac.....are you sure? Theres no going back once its done."

"I want a fresh start"  the monkey pleaded tears stinging his eyes "he's all I think about and it hurts."

"If this is what you want I'll help you" she gripped one of his hands in hers trying to soothe him.

Meiying flicked off the lights and locked the front door to her bakery. She led her old friend to the back of the shop and up a flight of stairs. Opening a red door at the top of the stairs, they entered her apartment. The living room  was a bit messy thanks to her lover.

Silver had brown hair with blue eyes practically glued to their book "welcome home."

"Have you eaten yet?" Meiying glared at them.

"Define eat" their tone was dripping in sarcasm.

Meiying rolled her eyes and in the safety of her own home she dropped her glamor. Black hair paled to white with blue accents. Fox ears twitched ontop of her head and a matching tail swishes behind her.

"Please eat something I have to help a friend."

Silver looked up and gasped "is that the six eared Macaque?"

"He's an old friend" she chuckled.

The black furred monkey waved to his friends companion "hey."

"I'm Silver! I'm a historian, you have time for questions?" They jumped up a bit excited.

"Um not right now but I'll tell you whatever you want to know later" Macaque felt a bit nervous and scared of what they wanted to know.

"What are you doing?"

"Sweetie I'm erasing some memories for Macaque" the kitsune motioned her lover to sit back down.

"Oh....i-im gonna go eat something" Silver slipped into the kitchen after giving Meiying a peck on the cheek.

Happy to see her lover take care of themself she motioned the monkey to follow her. She led him into a spare dark room, candles lit up the room as she used a fire spell. It was quite which the six eared monkey was happy for and there were scattered blankets and pillows.

"This rooms great for my panic attacks and depression" she chuckled.

Macaque hummed in amusement, he watched the kitsune sit on her knees. She patted her thighs signaling him to lie down. The monkey went to the middle and laid down resting his head on her lap.
