{AU both the reader and Elrond are human in this and it's platonic and Elrond is 5 years older than the redder}
"y/n dear you must wake now" a soft voice rudely awoke you from your slumber you opened one eye to see it was Elrond, "what time, is it"you asked voice lasted with sleep " 7am" apon hearing this you turned back around in an attemped to sleep, "you have classes in the hour" he reminded you.
once you were finally awake or as awake, as you could be for someone who went to sleep at 4, you sighed and got on with your day which was mainly school and finishing work you still had to complete, every now and again Elrond would bring you food or some form of drink you thanked him for it, the two of you met when you first moved into the flat you live in just before the pandemic started as it was closed to your school you and Elrond had similarly interested and bonded right away. the age gap was huge as he was only around 5 years older than you.
You smiled now finished with your work putting everything away you wanted around to find Elrond, finding him on the couch reading you did the only thing you could think of ump on him a groan left his lips as you laughed, "sorry" you muttered resting your head on his lap letting him return to the book. Elrond smiled over the past few months he had picked up on your habits some still left him confused others like this made him smile living his book for a moment he smiled at you playing with the hem of his jumper trying not to fall asleep, "go to sleep dear" he said softly you turned to look at the man your eyes lazed with sleep "no" you mutter, you were determined to stay awake as an attempted to fix you sleep pattern. Elrond laughed placing his book down and gently picking you up he moved you to your room.
once there he tried to set you on the bed but it would not happen "I want to stay with you "you sighed your face burry in his neck making him laugh, it ended up with the two of you cuddling yourself still playing with his jumper and Elrond playing with your hair. you lifted your head off of his chest and kissed his nose muttering a 'thank you' before you fell off to sleep leaving a blushing Elrond still awake he smiled holding you closer to himself before falling asleep soon after.
