Chan sat across from Jisung at the kitchen table. Jisung was frustrated as was Chan.
Chan was studying his way to become a detective, it was a whole family run thing so he didn't have a choice.
"He's not classed as Missing though" Chan explained for the nth time. Jisung shook his head. "Surely you can still track where he is"
Jisung couldn't just believe there had to be certain rules to finding someone. Chan sighed. "Look, I know you miss him but I haven't heard from him since the day he left-"
"He's practically disappeared. He Could be dead for all we know" Jisung stated yet again the worst. Chan sighed. "I don't think Minho would die that quickly"
"You don't know his mother like I do" Jisung glared. Chan had to admit, he didn't know Minho's mother the way Jisung remembered her. She was an evil woman in his eyes and a sweet woman in Chan's.
Jisung had been through a lot with Minho in the time they were together. Chan still remembered the day Jisung called him to tell him about Minho leaving.
Ever since Jisung hadn't been the same. Part of him wanted to scream at Minho for letting such an awful thing happen but then the note he left for Jisung only wished the best for him. Chan didn't really know what to do.
But he knew he couldn't look for him. No matter how much he wanted to. He was training and had to do actual cases, not a favour for a friend to find his lost love.
Jisung looked down at his hands. "Sometimes I wonder what I'd be like now if I really listened to what he wrote in that letter" His voice sounded rather harsh for what he was saying, almost angry at himself.
"Would I be less annoying to be around?" He looked up at Chan. Chan frowned back. "We love having you around Ji"
"Don't lie hyung. I can already tell that Hyunjin, Seungmin even Felix are done with me. Its all pity now isn't it"
Chan sighed. "The only thing I find sad about you is that you're life is only beginning and yet you're here critizing every aspect of your life and the world around you"
Jisung scoffed but he knew Chan was right. He just couldn't see good in anything. He did for the first few months that Minho had been gone but when he realised Minho wouldn't be coming back he lost hope and turned to the pessimistic person he now was.
He stomach turned again. "If Minho saw you now he'd be so disappointed" Chan said. Jisung felt like he was being guilt tripped by his own friend.
"Don't say that-"
"If I were Minho and sat across from you right now I don't think I'd recognise the boy I fell in love with" Chan continued his view. Jisung paused. Was he really that bad?
"I feel sick" Jisung muttered. Chan smiled a little. "Do you want some tea? It might settle your stomach"
Jisung shook his head.
"Jisung you need to have something" Chan Was more like a mom to him now than his own. It just seemed like his mom couldn't accept how lifeless Jisung became.
She just doesnt deal with it anymore. "When was the last time you ate?" Chan asked concern laced in his tone. Jisung shrugged "Dunno... A day ago?" he lied.
The Café was where he last ate. That was almost three days ago.
Jisung laughed at himself mentally. How did he let himself get to this point?
"You're lying" Chan folded his arms. Jisung sighed "Fine. Three days ago" At least Jisung could be honest. Chan gave a small smile. "Why didn't you eat since?"
Jisung shrugged. "It's not like I didn't want to... I just simply forgot" And that was the truth he'd rather spend his days sleeping than eating to give himself energy to do nothing but sit on his bed.
Chan nodded. "Do you want to eat something now?"
Yes would be the right option. Considering he was feeling ill so he nodded. "Yeah... I suppose" He didn't sound all that sad that he just worried the fuck out of his friend.
Chan nodded. "Noodles?" He asked and Jisung nodded.
In case you haven't guessed, Jisung was at Chan's apartment. Jisung couldn't deny he was jealous. Chan had his life together. Why couldn't he?
There was a silence between them. It appeared to be that Chan was thinking. Jisung watched the kettle boil water as if it was the most entertaining thing he'd since in months.
"If...he... If Minho Came back..." Chan suddenly started speaking. The name of Minho made Jisung listen instantly. ".. What would you do?" Chan asked.
Jisung furrowed his brows. "If you're about to tell me you have a notion of where he is-"
"I don't Jisung. I swear" Chan sighed sadly. "If I did you'd be the first person I'd tell" He added for more clarity.
Jisung sighed. Leaning against his hand. "I don't know... I'm mad at him... I miss him... I want to tell him I love him....we never actually broke up you know"
Chan hummed. "But no contact for a year isnt good either" Jisung shrugged. "Maybe I'm so blindly in love with him that I just don't care"
"I feel so many emotions towards him. Anger, love, sadness, hate... I genuinely have no idea what I'd do"
