My legs were close to giving in as I turned the corner, hunched over, carrying Weiss on my back. "Almost there, just a little longer."

Kicking Team RWBY's dorm door down, everyone was startled by my sudden appearance. "Y/N?!" Blake shouted, jumping up. "What's going on?"

"No time," I reply, putting Weiss down on her bed, tearing a portion of my shirt off wrapping it around her leg. "Keep pressure on it; the bleeding will stop."

Yang glared at me, clearly cautious by my sudden appearance. I can't blame them for that. "You better have a good explanation for all of this. What happened to Weiss."

Standing up, I began gesturing to everyone with my hand. "Scrolls, I want everyone to scroll right now!"

Blake raised an eyebrow handing it to me without much thought. Ruby came through, too, and Yang not too long after. Without hesitation, I dropped them on the floor, crushing each one and getting quite the reaction. "No! I had just finished paying that off!" Ruby cried.

"You have some nerve." Yang hissed, looking to attack me. Ignoring her, I took out my glaive, destroying the TV and taking serval deep breaths.

"Weiss, where is your scroll?" I ask, turning to her. "Where is it?!"

Weiss slowly raised her hand, pointing to her bag and pulling through the pain. Darting for her purse, I opened it finding her scroll. It was already too late, though, as static erupted. Dropping the bag, I stepped back as Gretel's voice echoed. "I see you. I see you. My guardian angel, do not fray; come with me; your life is done. The walls have ears, the doors have eyes, the trees have voices, and now, so do I. I've got strings. But entre nous. I'd cut my strings for you."

Crushing the scroll, I held my head, keeping my thoughts in check. Then, blinking serval times, I croaked a few words from my lips. "Is everyone alright?"

I turned to see a shaken group, speechless and uncertain. "Was that another?"

"Yeah... Another Stage of Grief, Gretel, represents the Stage of Depression." I explain, leaning against the wall, cupping my hands together, keeping my breathing in check. "You've already seen the nasty piece of work she is."

"I felt all happiness and joy fizzle and die. Everything went cold as if everything lost meaning." Blake muttered, pulling herself together. "How was that possible?"

"That doesn't matter; she's gone. Stay away from technology. It's how she prays on the weak and vulnerable. Now that she's gotten a taste of your despair, she'll likely try again."

I began leaving only to pause, hearing Weiss coughing and trying to speak. "Wait a minute! You don't just get to walk away from this; you've got to explain what happened. All Atlas' inventions were hijacked; that should be impossible."

Glancing over my shoulder, I shook my head. "I can count on you guys to take care of her, right? So get some rest Weiss, you'll wake up tomorrow, and all of this would have been a bad dream."

Closing the door behind I began walking down back to my own room. I stopped, however, already knowing Ruby was following behind. Turning around, I crossed my arms. "Ruby. What's up?"

"Y/N, hear me out, please; let me help you with this. You can't keep fighting this war alone."

"Alright, Ruby, you can help."

"Seriously? You're not going to try and shut me down?"

Smirking to myself, I shook my head. "I've realised, Ruby, that no matter what I say, you just don't listen. So I've just given up trying to keep you out of this mess."
