Wolfgang was tired; everything was beginning to take a toll on him. He's had enough. He bit off more than he could chew. Finally, he was done playing house.

Dragging himself back to the courtyard, he saw the rest of the students all crowded together, finishing off the last of the Grimm. Ruby was aiding Yang while the others made sure the battle was over. All apart from Blake.

Blake held her blade up to Wolfgang's neck, deadly serious. Deflated, Wolfgang stared blankly at her, taking a long-winded sigh. "Put the blade down, Blake."

"Blake, what are you doing?" Weiss shouted. "That's Y/N!"

"You heard her, Blake; what are you doing?"

Blake was shaken up, stumbling over her words as she spoke up. "Something about you has felt off for a long time. Ever since the attack on Vale, I could never quite put my finger on it, but now I know. You're not Y/N at all!"

To say everyone was surprised would be an understatement. Wolfgang showed little care, just shrugging his shoulders. Ruby was next to approach, leaving her sister slowly. "Y/N? What does she mean by that?"

Wolfgang looked up as it began to rain. It was the first time he felt the cold droplets wash against his face. This was met with a faint smirk. "There's no reason to hide the truth anymore. I've achieved my goals, and all my enemies have been defeated. I won. I am free."

The atmosphere became dire. Everyone watched in utmost horror as the appearance of Y/N began to fade, replaced by their one true enemy. "No, no! That's impossible!"

Wiping his face, Wolfgang still wasn't caring, shrugging again. "Ozpin couldn't stop me; Depression couldn't stop me. Denial... Y/N couldn't stop me. I am undefeatable; I am the ultimate being. I am God."

"What did you do to Y/N!?" Blake barked, pressing her blade further into Wolfgang's neck.

"Killed him obviously." He laughed. "Oh, but don't you worry. Denial, he has a little trick. He just doesn't know when to accept his fate and die. He'll be back. But you, I'm impressed you saw through my disguise; I put so much work into it. You deserve a gift. A prize, how does the sweet feeling of death sound?"

Wolfgang revealed a blade as he went to stab Blake. But then. He stopped. Dropping the knife, he kept laughing. "Always here in the nick of time, aren't you?"

Hands pressed deep in my pockets, I yawned, covering my mouth. "What can I say? I just love waiting until the very last moment. Wolfgang."

Wolfgang turned to me with a wide smile. "Y/N... It's been too long."

"Yeah, well, killing me does that," I state, moving my arm around. "You've been busy."

"Is that the real Y/N?" Jaune whispered, still unsure what was going on.

I gave a half-hearted wave trying to smile. "Hey, everyone. Seeing double, huh?"

"More defeated than ever. So it's true that you lose a part of yourself with each death. Soon enough, there will be nothing but an empty husk following orders. How amusing."

"Hey, that's rude," I reply, hands back in my pockets. "You sure you still want to do this? This seems like such a one-sided battle."

Wolfgang wiped his mouth, cackling. "An opportunity to kill you again, this time in front of your friends!? Oh, this isn't something I can miss, brother."

Nodding, I pulled my leg back. "Ok."

Kicking the air, a large shockwave was sent out, blowing everyone back. Wolfgang was pushed back, holding his arms up. "No more holding back! Just me and you! Die, die again and die forever. Denial!"
