With the snap of her fingers, Iris watched as one of Atlas's battleships came crashing down; this one, of course, was hijacked by the White Fang. "It does make you wonder; these primitive apes train their whole to fight the monsters hiding under our bed. Years and most cannot even reach the power to do what I just did with a snap of my fingers. It's really depressing when you look at it that way. Without us, they would have fallen decades ago."

Ivy floated down, reaching her sister. "Dear sister, the civilians have been evacuated. I, however, could not convince the students to leave with them."

"They believe they can help; how cute." Iris scoffed, standing up and looking at Ivy with remorse. "Things are moving quicker than I expected. Gretel couldn't help but break character. The very character I wove out for her."

"Gretel? We haven't been in contact with her for decades... Wait, you're not suggesting all of this was because of you?"

Iris looked out to the burning city with a deflated sigh. "When your powers began to show Ivy, you had no idea just how proud of you I was. You were as powerful as the fall maidens; no, you were better. Yet you lacked the ambition to use it for the good of mankind. I had to beg and plead just for you to share your gift with me and the others. Deep down, I wished for this to work; we would change the world. Save it from the evils of the Grimm and Salem. But..."

Iris began fondling a small orb. She was almost in a trance-like state as Ivy gasped, stepping back. "That's the stage of Anger... So you had it this whole time!?"

"My deepest regards to Alice... She just didn't have the ambition like us; she would much rather hide away than use the gift we gave her. So it was only right I took it back." Iris whispered. "Y/N, Wolfgang and now Gretel. All of them have failed me; they failed a straightforward goal. Save the world."

"This is madness, sister! This isn't how we save the world. Not like this."

"I love you very much, Ivy. Like a sister, but you see. To save the world, I do not need a sister, for a brother or any family." Iris whispered as Ivy gagged, Iris' hand wedged deep into her chest. Then, taking the Stage of Acceptance, she held it up, admiring the beauty. "I've seen enough pain, enough loss. I've stood by doing nothing for too long. I'll do it myself if these Huntresses don't fix the world. Please know I don't take these actions lightly, dear sister. What I do is to save this world and everyone else. And when the dust settles, you will thank yourself. They will all thank me, just like how it should always be."

Sparks echoed as Ozpin and Goodwitch took the first steps to fight. I took one leap back, swiftly clapping my hands as black holes appeared all around, sucking in all their attacks like it was clockwork. Once I landed, I quickly propelled myself forward, throwing a punch at Ozpin.

Using his cane, he dodged my attack as I kept up the bombardment seeing just how long he could hold on. Ducking under a counter-attack, I clicked my fingers smirking. One of Atlas' ships came crashing in, ripping the hallway apart. As the smoke began to pour in, I had already gotten behind Ozpin calling on the glaive of darkness.

I waited a moment, taken back when it didn't come. "Already?"

Ozpin wouldn't let this flaw go unnoticed, striking me and sending me flying back to where the fall maiden was. Picking myself off the ground, I wiped my lip, muttering. "How long have you been manipulating those children, Oz? How many have you sent to their deaths for your own self-satisfaction? What do you even get out of this? What is your end game? Do you even have one?"

"I've made risky bets; I've made mistakes. But taking in Y/N wasn't one of them. I believed what I was doing was right, the first step in making this world a better place. So, if anything, what's your end game?"
