"I beg of, please, don't kill me. I'll give you whatever you want. The White Fang can have whatever they want!"
"Hold," Adam demanded, whispering in my ear. Stopping, the Barron stared on, petrified. "You know the terms."
"They want your support. Your undivided support with the distribution of weapons, funds and food. You will also release all the Faunus you hold as your slaves back to their families."
"Of course! Of course." He bows. "I thank you so dearly, Fa- Wait, you're not Faunus... A human working with the White Fang? Impossible. I'll. I'll pay triple what they are! You're in it for the money, right?"
"No," I reply coldly, awaiting orders. "Adam?"
"Rip and tear."
My eye became void of any colour as I accepted the deep within. Then, raising my blade, I whispered. "I'm not human."
Killing Barron, I stared at his body, a faint smile wedged across my face, followed by a giggle. Watching the blood fall from my blade, I was about to call my Master and tell him the good news when something changed in the wind. A rose petal flew by me.
I quickly stopped glancing over my shoulder, seeing a woman in a red cloak with silver eyes glaring at me. Matching with this mysterious figure, I looked at my blade, debating. "Adam, we hav-."
I was cut off. Taken by surprise as the woman flew right through me in a split second. Stumbling back, rose petals flew everywhere before all the glass shattered and the area exploded. Knocked back, I turned my weapon, attempting to attack this new mysterious third party. But yet again, this woman was unlike anything I had ever seen.
She caught my blade with her own weapon disarming me in an instant. I flipped back, landing on the ground and charging up the deep to counterattack. I looked up to find where the woman was, but she was already in my face. Cutting me down, I fell to my knees, collapsing.
Lying on the ground, my radio kept blaring, demanding answers. "Report, Denial. That is an order! Report!"
The woman kicked my radio away, holding my blade to my neck. She took off her hood, staring right at me. "Your masters, they ordered you to kill good people. People I knew quite well. Can't say we got on very well though."
I didn't respond, just staring at her holding my tongue.
"We've heard much about you, the Mad Fang, Denial of the Five Stages of Grief. But most don't know you really as Y/N L/N." She said, still going. "I don't think you know either."
"You bested me; get it over and done with. Kill me; my purpose has run out. I lost. Do you think the White Fang will want anything to do with me now? Do it!"
The woman moved the blade away, stabbing it into the ground. "No, in fact, I don't think you believe that either. You want to be more than that. I think you've never even seen the world beyond the eyes of a monster taking orders." She held her hand out, smiling. "And I think it's about time you saw it with your own two eyes."
I wasn't given a say in the matter as she pulled me up, patting me down. "Are you coming?"
I stared blankly at her, feeling all over the place. My mind was fuzzy, still trying to pull me back to my mission. But everything else was breaking down. Finally, I spoke with my own voice for the first time since I could remember. "Why? You said it yourself; I'm a monster; I kill who I'm told to kill. I have no remorse; if my masters wanted me to kill you, I would say without hesitation! Who the hell are you!?"
"Who am I? The better question is, who are you? You can be your own person. No more killing, no more wars or bloodshed. You can be just Y/N." She debated before giggling. "How about this, be a pacifist."
