Because of all the negativity going on in the world *cough* America *cough cough* I thought I'd tell you some gay history.

Let me introduce you to Gilbert Bradley and Gordon Bowsher. Two WW2 soldiers who were dating, they sent letters back and forth, here some of the letters.

The letters -

My darling,
I lie awake all night waiting for the postman in the early morning, and then when he does not bring anything from you I just exist; a mass of nerves.

Letter 2 -

My own darling boy,
There is nothing I would want more in life than to have you be here with me always. I can't imagine what our mother's and father's reaction would be. The rest of the world does not conceive of our love - they do not know that it is love.

Letter 3 -

My darling boy,
For years I had it drummed into me that no love could last for life. I want you darling to seriously delve into your own mind, and to look once into the future. Imagine the war is over, and we are living together. Would it not be better to live on from now the memory of our life together when it was at its most golden pitch?

And one that you may of heard of!

Letter 4 -

... Wouldn't it be wonderful if all our letters could be published in the future in a more enlightened time? Then all the world could see how in love we are...

Together the pair wrote around over 600 letters!

Bye guys!!
