Eret comes home to seeing Tommy regressed, cuddles and fluff follow.

To my knowledge, Eret still uses all pronouns so I'll continue using them.

Tommy was curled on the sofa watching Bluey, wrapped in blankets and hugging his stuffies. Eret had gone out for a bit, and Tommy regressed.
He giggled happily at the TV and stuck his thumb in his mouth, curling up more under the blankets, he was cold but he couldn't figure out how to turn the heating on, after all he was just a baby!
Tommy giggled and frowned as the episode ended, he likes that episode and he didn't want it to end. That was a funny one, maybe when Eret was home he'd ask her to put it back on!
The sound of the front door closing had Tommy smiling happily and babbling as Eret walked in, he smiled happily and went over to Tommy.
"Hey little man! Lemme put this away and I'll give you a cuddle, yeah?" Tommy nodded eagerly and watched them go out the shopping away, and then the heating went on.
He came back in and easily picked Tommy up, causing him to giggle, per Tommys request the Bluey episode was put back on, and Tommy was given his pacifier.
They did spend the rest of the day like that, but that's fine because they were both comfy and Bluey is amazing.

Hello friends! Soo a new chapter, first one in a while. I have my reasons for not writing for a bit, don't worry all will be explained soon. Actually I'll explain it now.
Have any of you guys heard of dissociative identity disorder? DID for short, DID is usually the result of sexual or physical abuse during childhood. Sometimes it develops in response to a natural disaster or other traumatic events like combat. The disorder is a way for someone to distance or detach themselves from trauma. That's from Cleveland Clinic.
Essentially, the theory is that before the ages of 6-9 if you go through harsh repeated trauma then your brain might go "I can't handle this" and put up walls so the child can't remember. When the personality becomes one after the ages of 6-9 it can't due to the dissociative barriers and it creates different alters, alternative states of consciousness, and they are all their own separate identities and people.
So that's it, basically.
