Max's pov
I wake up with a massive headache.
I check my clock on my nightstand and it's reads 6:40."SHIT" i curse under my breath.
I run to the bathroom and get in
the shower. I'm gonna be late.
why didn't billy wake me up.
"UGHHH" I sigh.
I hurry and put on a red sweater
and some blue jeans. I brush my hair
and teeth. And throw my hair in a messy
bun .I open my bedroom door and see billy has already left.
Looks like I'm skateboarding.I roll
my eyes and head to the kitchen
and get a granola bar. I lock the
door since of course mom isn't home.
I get on my skateboard and start
heading to the school.When I get there
I see Will,Lucas, Dustin, and Mike.
I wave but the only one that saw
me was Will. I head into the school and
Troy is already starting stuff with
the other kids in the hallway .
I hate not having my earphones since Lucas
brought me a new pair and I don't want them to break so I try my best not to be near Troy when I have them.But you know Max mayfield has horrible fucking luck.
"Hey redhead did you miss me"he
said in a flirty tone."no certainty not."
I say not feeding into his "jokes"
"Ooo ladies and gentlemen Shes
as feisty one." He says as James laughs
with him,his new partner in crime.
I throw my backpack over my
back and walk to first period.
"HEY REDHEAD JUST KNOW
NOBODY LIKES YOU." He yells
after me. I freeze in my tracks.
The words just echoed in my head
while my eyes started to water
but Troy Wasn't done.
"AND UR SO UGLY NO MATTER HOW
HARD YOU TRY" he yelled even louder causing everyone to giggle.I walked in the
class and sit in my seat.
Will then came in the class.me saw
me about to cry and came walking
Over to me."hey max what happend?"
"Nothing " I say forcing a smile
"I know your lying" he says."It's just-"
lucas then comes walking over and sits
in his seat next to me.I just keep quiet,knowing Lucas is staring at me.
Lucky me the class started .
What Troy said about me,
is that real true...,I wonder why
Lucas is being so nice to me.
I see will turn around every once in a
While to check on me I just try to avoid it.
Those words Troy said keep repeating
In my mind. It's not the first time I heard it,
Billy has said it to me multiple times...
