Chapter 7- Fatherly love

          Iris and her sisters were really shocked when Cisco came to pick them up from school . They were expecting their mum to show up because she was the one always picking them from school or they sometimes used the School bus if their mum was busy, but today their father suddenly showed up.It has been like ages since he picked them up from school.
      The ride home was very awkward,since between father and daughters,no one was willing to speak. Iris and Mia kept exchange glances and talking through their eyes .
As soon as they got home, they rushed out of the car and and went to their mothers room,they were finally able to breath when they were in the comfortable silence of their mums room.

"Iris, why didn't you tell mum about what you heard dad say on the phone yesterday?" Mia asked as she folded her uniform .

"Just forget about it,I don't want mum and dad to fight about it ."iris replied.

"I think mum will be able to handle it,you should have told her"

" I said no Mia ".

"If you don't tell her I'll do it for you".

"Don't you dare".

"What if something happens,it's going to be all your fault."

"Fine, I will tell her everything . "

"You better do".

Few minutes later the door banged open as Nora rushed in."Mia,iris !guess what" .Nora shouted with excitement.

"What??" Iris asked obviously not interested.

"Look.. dad bought me ice cream". Nora said as she raised the Ice cream cup above her head for her sisters to clearly see .

"Well don't eat it". Mia said

"Why ? Can't dad buy me ice cream?" Nora questioned

"Remember what mom warned us about". Iris spoke.

"Well .....we'll all be in trouble cause dad bought for all of us and I think he is on his way here".

"What !!! " Iris and Mia screamed at the same time and quickly jumped off the bed .They knew what happened the last time he came into the room ,and iris was not going to let her sisters go through the same pain again.

"I'll go hid in the bathroom, tell him I'm not here ". iris said and ran into the bathroom.

"And I'll be under the bed".Mia said and quickly rolled herself under the bed.

It wasn't too long, just few seconds later before Cisco entered the room.Nora was sitting on the bed trying to act innocent.

"Are you gonna eat your ice cream or not ,it's melting".he asked.

" Yeah ,I will after I ask permission from mummy".

Cisco furrowed his brows at Nora's blunt response,there was a glint of sadness or was it anger in his eyes, but it disappeared as soon as it came.

"Do you really have to ask her permission before taking something from me ?" He said with a low voice.

"Yes ,mum said we shouldn't talk to you ,go near you , accept anything from you and avoid you as much as we can".she said completely unaware of the implication of her words.

Mia on the other hand suddenly got the urge to hit her little sister on the head for her foolishness because she feared what her father might do if he got angry by Nora's words.
Cisco was completely loss of words for a few moments before he finally found his voice.He could not believe that Sally had completely turned his children against him,only God knew what they thought of him now.
