i waved after marnie, as she drove off down my street. i unlocked my front door, slipping my shoes off and placing them on the shoe rack. i shut the door, calling out to my family.

"anyone home?" i got an instant reply from my mother who had a very happy tone to her voice.

"just in the kitchen, love!"

i walked through, smiling towards her, sitting on the spinning chair at the breakfast bar.

"mom? is it okay if i go to a party tonight and the girls sleep over afterwards?" i batted my eyelashes at her as she seemed in a good mood.

she smiled, as she nodded her head. she loved all my friends almost as much as me, so of course she's letting me.

i smiled, before running up to my room. i shut my door behind me with my foot, running to my speakers, plugging my phone into it, selecting a random playlist from my phone.

i let it burst out the music, as i danced around. i was concentrating too much to even realise the girls at my door in a fit of giggles. i giggled along with them, turning the music off.

"got all your stuff?" i asked them, sitting down on my bed.

they all nodded before laying their separate outfits onto my bed. i sighed looking at their great choice of outfit. i opened my wardrobe, flicking between coat hangers holding all my clothes up. pulling out varies outfits, i eventually managed to pick one i was happy with. i pulled out a matching pair of red undergarments, before placing them on top of the pile of. clothes.

the girls all saw the undergarments, before smirking at me. i rolled my eyes at them, walking to my ensuite bathroom. i slip on the undergarments placing my old ones in the wash basket. i pull a grey mini pencil dress up my legs, fiddling with it so it sits perfectly in place.

i walk out of the bathroom, throwing my old clothes in the wash basket during the process. all the girls were all dressed, and they all looked lovely. we all exchanged looks, checking each others outfits out, before smiling.

esme sat down on the floor, near a plug socket, plugging in her straightners. she had very curly hair, because she's african american but she hates it so she decides to straighten it.

i sit down at my dressing table, and pull open my drawers revealing all my makeup. i place some makeup on my dressing table, reaching for the eyeshadow palette. i decided to go for a smokey eye look, with winged eyeliner.

i curled my eyelashes, and added a few coats of mascara over them then i applied a thin layer of the lipstick over my lips.

the girls were all ready, so i grabbed some black wedges from the bottom of my wardrobe and a black clutch bag, placing my phone and my mascara and eyeliner and other essentials into it.

i slipped the wedges on, and sprayed a final spritz of body mist. we all looked in the mirror, before chloe pulled out her phone, clicking on the snapchat app. we all posed as she took the picture. she uploaded it to her story as we all walked downstairs, to be greeted by my mother.

she smiled and told us how beautiful we all looked. inunlocked my phone and passed it to my mother, and she took a load of photos of us.

we eventually left the house, and the sun was still out. the sun stays out until about 9:00pm in cali usually. we all piled into marnie's car, and we put the radio on. it was a repeat of this morning, and we kept getting funny looks from people on the street, but we honestly didn't care, we just continued.

we soon arrived, parking outside. we all stepped out from the car, and peered up at the house in confusion. the air was calm, and undisturbed, and there was no music or anyone to be seen outside.

"this is definitely it though?" esme states, but it comes out as more of a question.

we all unsteadily walk towards the door, and as we draw nearer, we begin to hear the faded blur of music. the door was swung wide open and a girl threw herself past us, before vomiting into a plant pot. we all giggled before stepping into the house.
